if Taichi and Chihaya really don’t end up together I will be completely heartbroken.

To me, Chihaya loves Arata in the way of an idol, and inspiration, and hopefully in future a best friend, and Arata loves Chihaya similiarly and also because she was the first person to really reach out to him. Whereas Chihaya and Taichi have been best friends forever, which is a kind of love in itself and a deep love at that. It would be easy for Chihaya (being Chihaya) to not realise that love had grown/changed gradually over time. Maybe she needs the distance?

Since the beginning, I’ve just felt like the whole story has been framed in a way to suggest they would be the endgame, but the more and more they go back and forth and string it out im getting nErvOusS

I love the manga and anime anyway but it would feel like a big big chunk of the heart of the story missing if they don’t get together, it would make the entire story feel a little empty in fact

this series has had a lot of amazing clips but I won’t forgive them adding in the attack only to not give it the necessary attention it deserves. They can’t possibly delve into it now so that means they won’t at all or it’ll be in the background next season. People need to keep in mind that moyo isn’t all of a sudden supportive of robbe and sanders relationship and robbe being gay. His speech came from a place of protectiveness. I’ve been there. As soon as somone talks bad about someone you care about, for example here robbe was implying sander doesn’t feel anything and moyo jumped in like how dare you say bipolar people don’t feel anything and it was all fake, my moms bipolar and she freaking loves me. So yeah it wasn’t out of character. And also he could’ve thought about robbes coming out and has been working on being more accepting. Some time has passed and people can change their views.

I think the boy squad have let this season down but I’m almost glad it was moyo so he feels more multi faceted than chasing girls and dumb jokes and homophobia. Although the minute by minute speech loses its impact here, at least in the way it was designed in the OG. Looking forward reunuin and maybe hopefully a proper conversation between sander and robbe? And bringing robbes mum into the picture? Friday feels a long way away

As frustrating as it is, I do really like what they’re doing.

It’s a way to show the audience that all of these people speaking FOR someone is not the way.

It is setting it up so that there’s this overwhelming feeling that Robbe has been told what to do and hasn’t listened to Sander himself so that when he does get that advice from whoever it is that will change his entire world view... the audience will realise that all of this stuff he had to go through, all of the sideways positioning he’s had to endure when all he had to do was listen to the one person that matters.

That just because you have a mental illness does not entitle everyone around you to dictate your life. Fuck, no wonder Sander is as done as he is and no wonder being wrapped up in Robbe’s arms made him look like the weight of the world had disappeared.

no shade or anything, but i am beginning to think we gave the writers too much credit for changing things up, leading us to believe that this coming week would be different than normally (i.e. robbe has a mentally ill mom, he won’t shut sander out, he won’t think it’s all been a lie, he has people around him that have seen their relationship and won’t let robbe get away with thinking it was all a delusion). time to turn off the braincells again and just go along for the ride.

Okok, now we’re here, they really better fucking not have robbe step back. Not with how they’ve set up robbe and his mum; not with the attack they went through together. That would once and for all show that wtfock does not understand its own characters and does not have a well thought out plan. I would actually like to see a conversation between robbe and his mum, bc lord knows the boys have done shit.
