Reading newer witchy and witchcraft adjacent books is going to make me flip a table.

They're all the same. Goddess lists. Effeminate to the point of exclusion of male practitioners. Correspondences. Do no harm rules. Cultural appropriation. Use of dangerous herbs. Overly fanciful wording, like someone dunked it in glitter to embellish it.

I'm gonna lose my marbles.

Regurgitated and rewritten. Over and over again. Someone please give me good recommendations, before I cry

The trick is not to look for witchcraft books, but to look for books on specific topics and studies. So dont look for witchy herbology, but look for actual herbalism books made by famous and non-famous practitioners. Don’t look for water and beach magic books, look for books that talk about climate change, the ocean, the composition of shells, and new deep sea creatures. Don’t look for chaos magic or left hand magic books, look at psychology books, physics textbooks, astronomy, history books on “witches” and demonology. And make sure they are either peer reviewed if they are textbooks, or they have pages of references.

Alright here it is. Hi I’m kihnindewa (black + native + lgbt + disabled) and many of u know I’m continuously having a bad time lately. I just missed a week of work bc I’ve been struggling immensely with my mental health & substance use issues. I’m also trying to save up to move in with my girlfriend in October.

I would really really appreciate some help getting those missed wages back. I was really lucky that my boss allowed me to have the time off and I had no choice, I did not leave my bed for like 4 days & honestly idek if I’m really in shape to go back tomorrow, but losing out on the money is potentially catastrophic to our plans. If I don’t make up for it somehow, I will probably fall behind on my own necessities (again) much less be able to save for the move. I’ll be missing about $350, but anything helps.

This is going to be a very low energy update I’m sorry i am very down rn. If I don’t hit this goal, I don’t have enough money just to survive the next couple weeks. Didn’t want to keep updating this post bc things have changed so much but the other post isn’t moving so. During the test drive after completing some repairs, they found that there was a much bigger problem. Repairs are now over $2000

This would be a MASSIVE blow to my gfs savings for our move in October. Atp I have no hope that we’ll be able to make it happen. I am not expecting to raise this amount at all but ANYTHING helps. Setting the goal with about $700 taken off bc of a credit card I plan to use 👍🏽
