Chihiro didn’t have many female friends, not that she could particularly call Kaguya a friend, but after hearing the girl she remembered fondly (after she’d been kind enough to hold onto her and teach her how to stay afloat in the water, when they were back with New Disney) had made her way to Avenir, she didn’t want to squander it. Having asked around for the other girls room and being told by a group of envious students that she was living with both a celebrity and a celebrity’s son, Chihiro found herself knocking on the front of the dorm with a small box of tea and fudge in hand, feeling unnecessarily nervous.

Leaving behind many painful memories in Ireland, Kaguya took a few months off from her education and went back home to Japan. There was too much on her mind to focus on anything else, and she knew she would be able to do much more once she settled her emotions. Most of her time was spent roaming and thinking, reflecting on the issues she needed to sort out, and the relationships that turned sour overtime. Although she still felt fragile after what happened with a certain someone, Kaguya kept her head high and pushed those feelings away- it was a distraction she couldn’t tolerate any further. She was thankful about the dramatic changes that happened while she was away. The girl needed a change of scenery, and there was land she had yet to uncover. However, it was too cold for her liking, and Kaguya decided to lock herself away in her room, playing her Koto on the floor to pass the time. It wasn’t until a knocking came that the girl stood up to answer it, making her way to the front door, she opened it without care and lit up once she saw a familiar face. “Chihiro?” A bright smile made its way on her lips, and the girl urged her to come forth. “Time has passed since I’ve last seen you.”

“They are where I’m from.” He shrugged, though that was just his opinion. “Well, I hope it does change, Kaguya, cause I think, if you and I can manage to find someplace to eat in this big school together, we’d make good friends.”

“And where I’m from, it isn’t. Also, it’s just a personal preference for me as well.” she teasingly gave him a shrug back. “Don’t worry about it too much, it’s changing already! But you shouldn’t slack off because I told you that.” Kaguya warned him in a playful tone. “Alright, that sounds like a good plan. We should start looking for a map since it has everything we need to find a place.”

“If you’re sure.” Jess shrugged her shoulders. She looked at the girl, but managed to also keep an eye on her sandwich at the same time. “You’re right. I’m actually the school nurse. What about you? Are you a student?”

“The school nurse? Well, incase I ever need you, now I know who you are.” she laughed lightly, eyeing how the women was making her food. “Yes, that I am.”

Esme finally gave up and just let her long hair fall around her shoulders like usual. She smiled brightly and nodded her head. “You’re welcome and thank you as well. I know how you feel though. I feel as if my hair is just so plain and boring having it down all the time. Anytime I try to do something with it, I feel like it looks silly.”

“You should never feel silly for trying out different styles! Even though I find your hair beautiful already, it doesn’t hurt to do new things. The worst someone could do is criticize you, but why listen to them anyways?”

“It looks like you are having double the bad luck today. Missing the bus and being caught in the rain.” Vision said with a shrug. He was feeling bad for just being in the rain but at least he hadn’t missed his bus. “Where were you headed?”

“It is a misfortune, isn’t it? Oh well, I have no say in what nature does, but all I can do is wait. The only thing I do regret is not wearing fabric made of thicker material. The weather has been chilly for the most part, but now with the rain...” She laughed, motioning at the breeze mixed with the drops of water. “Back to my dorm. Although I love the rain, I’d rather not catch a cold. What about you stranger?”

“I don’t know but it does.” Adam grumbled a bit under his breath at her second statement. “Just don’t look at me again.” 

“Well, I guess I can see meaning behind your words. The eyes can see what ears cannot. Just from taking a glance, I could see most of the emotions you were holding within.” Kaguya kept staring at the rain, some cars passing by here and there. “Alright, I won’t.” Although the girl couldn’t help herself and took a small peak at the male before finding her way back to rainfall in a short second. 

Roscoe basically ignored her until she got rid of the bird. He watched it fly off and the turned his attention back to the girl, exhaling the smoke from his cigarette away from her. “You a bird whisperer or somethin’?” He joked, chuckling slightly. “Thanks for gettin’ rid of it. It was interruptin’ my peace and quiet.”

“No, I just connect well with nature.” she shrugged playfully, a smile placed on her lips. “Are you trying to get something off your mind? Is that why you need the peace and quiet?”

“A cuddle is as harmless as a meal.” Mimicking her finger wiggle with his own, Ronno grinned. “Aw, don’t wanna believe I’m talking to you because I thought you seemed like a nice girl? I’m glad you won’t hold it against me, but you’ve got me all wrong.” Stepping forward aimlessly, Ronno looked around. “You know where they do food, here?”

“I guess you have a point, but cuddles aren’t meant for just anybody.” she countered, smiling once the male copied her actions. “Maybe I am wrong, but by the end of the day you’re the only one who really knows how you are, not me. I’ve only just met you so my judgment will change over time.” Stepping forward in his direction, Kaguya looked around as well, thinking quietly. “I don’t, but I’m sure we’ll find something! It shouldn’t be too hard to spot a place, and I think it’ll be fun trying to look for it.”

“No, but I wasn’t looking at you so do something about yours and don’t look at me. Just mind your own business.”

“How is looking at you for a few seconds getting into your business? I turned away the second you told me to, and I still am. Why are you still complaining?” 

“Keep your human nature to yourself, will you? It doesn’t need to be looking at me.”

“Everyone has human nature, are you saying you don’t?”

“So I can’t keep ya warm, but I can dine with you?” Ronno wasn’t complaining. A meal with a pretty girl sounded like the perfect way to spend his time. “Another girl? Come on, what kind of guy do you take me for? I’d be happy to eat with you.”

“There is a difference between intimacy and a friendly dine.” she remarked, wiggling her pointer finger in his direction. “If you were so willing to speak with me, I’m certain you’d speak to any other girl as well, but I won’t hold it against you. Let’s search for a place then.”

“I’m a patient man.” He lied confidently, it being his default response whenever pretty girls would turn down his most kind of offers. “But fine, Kaguya the honeyboo, I won’t expect nothing. I just hope you don’t freeze to death.”

“Good. It will be a skill you’ll need then.” she smiled, finding the stranger somewhat entertaining. “Oh, don’t worry about silly me.” Kaguya chimed, knowing he wasn’t being serious. “I won’t freeze to death, but I might starve to death since I haven’t eaten anything. Would you like to get something with me? Or would you like to pry on another girl?”
