I've been thinking,,,
Luke running a small coffee shop, Nick is his best friend/employee and Lee brings Clementine to the shop every morning for coffee and breakfast, and Luke and Clem are good pals and Luke always gossips to Clem about the things he hears and Clementine tells him the terrible things that happen at school and once Clem learns Luke has a crush on Nick, she's always teases him.

“C’mon! its not that hard to ask someone out!”
“Clem, there's more to it than that-”
“Ill make you a deal. Ill ask out my crush if you ask out yours, the first person with a boyfriend, wins, and the loser has to pay for the date.”
“What kind of date?”
“Like the movies or something, nothing big because I'm still living on allowance.”

And then five minutes later, Clem has a date with Gabe bc haha she has a phone and Luke does not.
Luke still pays for the date even though he swears Clem’s a dirty cheater.
And Clem ends up asking Nick out for Luke and Nick makes fun of him for losing that terribly to a child.
