We are a hobbit now
I have this 20 long aquarium that I want to grow plants in for my sister's crawfish to eat. I'm thinking of putting either fire bellied newts or fire bellied toads in here. Knowing both these animals can produce toxins would ingesting the plants subsequently hurt the crawfish? If so beyond fish what aquatic animals would you suggest for the tank.
hey! i found a parakeet outside my house this evening and none of my neighbors have birds. we caught him and put him in an old dog crate that we had lying around (we don’t have anything else to keep him in) and i’ve given him some spinach and some apple chunks and some water. i’ve also made a perch out of lincoln logs. he seems really stressed out and i want him to be as comfortable as possible. is there anything that you would recommend doing to help him calm down?
Cover the crate with a blanket and find a vet or rescue that will take him as soon as possible
