4 weeks since I got scraped up from the road

SUP BESTIES I am OUT OF REHAB. It's actually really easy to navigate my house with .5 working leg! I made an instant miso soup with zero problems and am sitting on my own couch listening to records I bought a month ago. I climb steps on my butt like a crab now. Gonna sleep 1000 hours later.

I'm set to go home on Sunday after almost a month away and I'm so deeply looking forward to getting to SLEEP.

Everyone I know is deeply invested in facilitating my Warhammer Era.

Being in rehab is kinda hard because the food options are very limited and not very nutritious (think grim, floppy grilled cheese and unseasoned canned/frozen veg at every meal). My friend Rayne made this wonderful fundraiser to get me money to order delivery while I'm here and it's made a huge difference! Just having fresh, crunchy, tasty vegetables and flavorful spices to look forward to is immensely beneficial to my mental health. I'm also getting way better nutrition this way, especially protein and vitamins.

Everything I don't spend on food is going toward medical equipment that will help me go home (lots of which isn't covered by insurance), other medical bills, and all the weird surprise expenses that go along with being hit by a car and disappearing from the world for a month.

Ended up in the ICU for a week with low sodium. It was absolute torture! I'm getting out tomorrow finally and getting transferred to inpatient rehab for my car crash injuries (broken heel, pelvis, back). Gonna be there 6-8 weeks and then get to go home.

On leave from the internet job so I'm looking at 8-10k in lost wages but I'll survive.

Got hit by a car, been in the hospital since wednesday......no good
