It’s funny how people are so quick to share fake information or half baked theories regarding the Coronavirus simply because it’s triggering or it fits perfectly into their own prejudice, discriminatory, and ignorant beliefs. Yet even when it’s been proven false these articles rarely gain any traction.

Bat video- proven fake. It wasn’t even in Wuhan it was in Palau.

112000 aren’t dead nor are people dying on the streets

Sick kids are being abandoned in the airport

Martial law isnt enacted

There aren’t 23 cases in the US

This isn’t a bio weapon

There isn’t a Coronavirus protest in Wuhan

Even fake Canadian department of health is spreading mass fear

There isn’t a outbreak at Ryerson or McMaster

Guess it’s more fun to generalize and discriminate a whole race of people. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Let’s face it with the amount of fake news spread online, people care more finding new ways to dehumanize a race than actually caring about this virus.

At this point it’s not even about the virus, and more about how to sharpen and broaden their skills of racism and discrimination
