Lore Bits

[I’ll be doing these from time to time as a filler just for stuff on my blog. They’ll be one-offs related to the history and current timeline.]

My name is Elisarias. It has been many moons since my partner was cast out from the oceans depth but he seems ever agitated. He says that his people are soft unlike those of the land and there should be war once more. But it has been millennia since the great wars of the past. My grandmother was not even alive in those days. I fear for the coming months and what he may do to rally such hard people...and I fear for myself as I cannot leave him as he is. Please watch over me goddess of light.

Closed Starter: Gentle Breeze

@aizstavis It had only been a short while since Kayden left the sea. Still, he was unsure of what he would do with his life now. He couldn’t return to the sea or he would never be allowed to leave again. Father hated when anyone would run away, especially after the hunter incident. He sighed and walked onward, entering a forest he had spotted recently. Barefoot, he felt the the crunch of leaves as he moved further into the woods that seemed so calm and gentle, like a soft ocean breeze. Maybe he could search for his brother here? Dylan talked a lot about forests and meadows and how beautiful the moon was on land. Though he couldn’t really remember what else he said about the surface really. He was younger then and wasn’t the best at paying attention. He stopped after a bit when he saw the sky through a break in the trees, looking upward with soft orange tinted eyes, head tilted to one side as he took in the sight. It was beautiful and made him feel at an odd ease like time itself had stopped. This also meant he was a bit oblivious to his surroundings as well, not noticing a single thing going on around him.

Open Starter: Sea Tears

It had been too long since he’d seen his brother. Too long since the shunning of the eldest Eazon sibling. Kayden could no longer take not knowing the fate of Dylan on the surface as he grabbed what he could in a small weaved bag that fell below the surface a week ago. It would work for the moment at the least. He quietly slipped out his window, making his best to swim away as fast as he could without being spotted. Hopefully they would assume he was going out for a quick session of quiet in the seaweed. Hopefully they assumed he’d come back. Then his sister could take the throne when he went ‘missing’. His sister was prepared, his sister was ready to rule. He was far from it, even with the training and tireless lessons. He didn’t have the heart for such things. As he reached the surface, he saw the moon and stars reflecting on the water, a gentle reminder of this being his last chance to turn back. But he didn’t care anymore to give up. So onto the shore he dragged himself up. Now to wait and hope nobody would catch him.
