I see some people complaining about Louis' track by track explanation videos (especially about the latest one, Habit) because he mentioned that the lyrics also allude to a "girl". I saw certain blogs even question the necessity of making these videos because they don't agree with what is being said about the "inspiration" behind the lyrics.

But what I don't understand is that surely that little mention of the "girl" can't be a reason to not want to listen to everything else Louis has to say about the creative process. Wouldn't you want to know how he came up with the concepts for the songs of his debut album, or how he wanted the production to be like, what he thinks of the songs? How can that little mention overshadow every other interesting things he has to say? I sure do. How can you question the point of these videos?

Louis is more than a relationship. He is his own person and an artist with a lot to say. Fans should start respecting Louis as an individual, outside of their ships and headcanons (it's sad that I have to write this sentence at all). As always, Louis deserves better.
