I think actually this category was pretty tight and honestly I woke up today not even caring if she won or not. Laura’s album still is that good that it transcends awards, actually. The Grammys were pretty boring actually to watch last night, imo.

You are of course right, and Mental Illness was a worthy winner I think. Still, it would have been nice to see (or not see since the category wasn't televised but whatever) her win, but neither she nor the album needed this, as you say they transcend awards.

#anyways I'm gonna listen to Semper Femina 10000 times today#she says as if that isn't what she's been doing almost every day for almost the last year haha

Life updates that nobody cares about lol

Tomorrow is my last day at this job, which is kinda sad but mostly I’ll be glad to go because changes in the last year or so have just made it significantly less enjoyable or fulfilling.

3 weeks until I start my PhD!!

Going to a 3 day conference on Wednesday in Oxford, called “ The Bountiful Sea Conference” which is an a++ name. Its about fish in the archaeological record, not gonna lie, I’m mostly going as an excuse for a 3 day break in Oxford with Robin and the Roman fish tasting menu on Wednesday night haha.

Then at the weekend I’m gonna meet @agelade for the first time (!!!!) and get to see @themegalosaurus again :D About which I’m super, super, super excited.

Somehow I’ve also gotta finish packing up our house so we can move!

OHHH also we finally got to see the new house we are moving into last weekend and ITS SO NICE! There is a plum tree and a crabapple tree in the garden :D So I forsee lots of jam in our future! Also there is a cat flap in the back door which I have chosen to take as a sign that we HAVE to get a cat when we move!
