Reasons why it makes sense that Harley meet the joker AFTER Jasons Death

1. Most people (Outside of Batmans “Circle of Trust”) dont know that Jason/Robin, died and even more so Murdered. So its easy to assume that most people thought Robin was retired both in and out of the superhero/villian community. Which means only a limited number of people know the Joker murdered a child. 

2. If we follow the original story of Harley and the Joker meeting, she was a new 

psychiatrist to both arkham and Gotham in General, so her knowledge on Batmans personality would be limited. So when the Joker comes in severely beaten by the Batman it would make sense with her to sympathize with the Joker and not question why every encounter with the Bat and the Joker end up with him nearly beaten to death. (Other than the Batman being a vigilante who is abusing his power among the local authorities) 

3. This would help the Joker manipulate Harley more, by then making him seem more of the Victim. The Joker is a master manipulator, he would slowly wait until he revealed to Harley the truth of what happened to Jason. Not to relieve his guilty consiouse but to prove to Harley how important she is to him by revealing his biggest “Secret” 

4. This is the most important one to me. Once Harley fully commits to her role as the Jokers sidekick she’ll have to be faced with some of his abuse, knowing her personality before she became “Harley Quinn” I think one of the reasons she stayed with the Joker for so long is because the Joker convinced her that she is still in control by being the object of some of his more intense abuse. Why? Because if Harley leaves him he’ll revert back to his more gruesome ways and will probably kill another child again, so she has to stay with him. 

Of course eventually after a number of incedences Harley realizes what little control she thought she had on the Joker never existed in the first place

story time my dad always made dinner when i was little so i spent the first ~4 years of my life eating mexican food everyday and the first time i went over to one of my white friends houses they gave us pb&j sandwiches and i was like “haha what about dinner” and the mom was like “that is dinner sweetie!” and i was like “i have to go home now”

when i got home my parents were like “i thought u were staying for dinner” and i told them what happened and my mom was shocked and was like “DELANEY that is RUDE” but my dad laughed for like half an hour

There are 3 bullet holes in my room. One grazed my arm. I am writing this post from the hospital.

I live in an apartment with my mom and my 9 year old sister. Our neighbors are drug dealers and have been terrorizing us since they moved next door. They fought their dogs in our yard. They shot my moms car windows out. They verbally threatened to assault my mom. And tonight, our apartment was caught in their crossfire. About 5 bullets penetrated our apartment, there were a total of about 30-40 gunshots I heard in all. 3 of those bullets entered the apartment right next to my bed, where I was sitting then the gunshots began. If I hadve ducked even 10 seconds later than I did, I would’ve taken 3 bullets to directly to the torso.

We have reported their activities to police three times, and all three times nothing was done. None of the officers even went over to their apartment to ask any questions. They always came in, stayed for a few minutes and listened, then left. I even showed them video evidence of the dogfights they’d have in our yard, which i would insert here but it is too graphic to show and I don’t want my identity out there. and still nothing was done.

We cannot live like this any longer. We need a new home. My mother is an entrepreneur and makes our living solely on ebay. She does well, but we still do not have any money leftover and things are always tight. I don’t have a job, I quit my job to take care of my aging grandmother who lost mobility about three months ago. We need a miracle. I am too afraid to go back to that place. I don’t know what we can do, but money talks and if we can put enough money down, we can get a small rent to own house in a better neighborhood. On top of this, I don’t have health insurance, and the bill for my er visit is looming.

Please. I saw my sister scream “I don’t wanna die” as my arm bled and I held her to try to comfort her as the shots were still firing. I don’t wanna see that again. We cannot stay here and wait for something worse to happen. If there’s any way anyone can help us, even $1, please please please I am begging you, find it in your heart to do so. And even if you can’t or don’t want to, if you’re from the u.s., help us by using your voting power to get these fucking guns off the streets and out of the hands of people like the ones who nearly killed me today.
