You know, while we have no idea what the story of The Missing comic is actually gonna be yet, what we can gather from just reading the blurbs, Varric having to search half of northern Thedas to no avail just because Solas keeps popping up all over the flippin map like a never ending cat-and-mouse game, I think this sums up the plot pretty well
You know, itās amazing what an extended break from writing can do for you!Ā It can be a little difficult to get the flow back, but sometimes, it actually helps get your thoughts to translate more clearly. So, here you are, lovelies! A teeny, tiny blurb of my favorite dragon and wolf! :D

The moment Faneās expression softened and a tiny sigh slipped past his lips, Solas knew he had won.
ā...Okay.ā
Solas blinked a bit. He had not been expecting a verbal affirmation, knowing how sensitive the topic of marking was for Fane, but its arrival made his heart quicken a few beats. Without really thinking, he reached up to cup an ivory cheek, his own growing warm whenever his dragon responded with a nuzzle and a kiss into his palm,
āOkay?ā Solas whispered with a note of disbelief. It was not that he was doubting, but he wanted to be sure, to know this was what Fane desired as well. It would not be a one-sided decision. It would not.
Fane huffed out a laugh against his palm, nuzzling it once more. Two-toned eyes, the depths jade, the outer ring a brilliant gold, gazed down into his own with utter warmth and utter affection. The look made Solas feelā¦relieved, and his dragonās next affirmation held the certainty he was seeking.
āIf itās what you really want, and youāre aware of the risks that go along with it, thenā¦ā His dragonās eyes flickered downwards for a moment, the lids growing heavy as they fixed themselves upon where Solas could feel his pulse fluttering and his voice came forward once more, encased in the deepest of growls, ā...Iāll make you mine. Gladly.ā
Solas visibly shuddered at both Faneās words and his voice. In fact, so visceral was the shiver of his spine that he found himself burrowing into his dragonās front, face aflame and breath short. Faneās arms wrapped around him immediately, pinning Solasā form to his own with a tender squeeze. This wasā¦dangerous, but Solas adored it. He had heard his dragonās pitch and depth many times, but when it was soaked with desire, with want? Oh, that caused his mind to melt, his blood to spark. Not even the knowledge that this act would hurt deterred him. A darker side of him craved the pain, the implication.
And now, he would have it. Consent had been given. Now, all that was needed was initiation.

This is actually a pretty big milestone in Fane and Solasā relationship. And one that takes quite a while for them to get to because my dumb, dumb dragon is overprotective. *sighs fondly*Ā

Post Tresspasser, Solas spends half his time in the fade staring mournfully at Lavellan from a respectful distance; and the other half running away from Cole.
