An idea that just came to me from the depths of no where that may or may not have already been done:
Ben 10, but make it ✨horror✨
Like, an alien device clamps on to this poor kid’s wrist, with him having no clue what’s going on, and cannot be removed. At all. Number one: ow, probably. Number two: panic inducing much?? Especially for a kid??
And then, you have the actual transformations, which is just body horror central. I mean: his literal form is getting twisted and stretched, he’s growing fur and extra limbs, one of them is literally on fire. A whole body horror feast. Like, imagine with Heatblast that the heat came before the body changed to tolerate it. Ben would literally start to burn/melt/what have you as his body tried to change to keep up.
And none of that even touches on the mental effects. The extreme pain of shifting back and forth between forms? The constant fear as you’re hunted by aliens because of the device you literally can’t remove from your wrist? Ben’s in for a rough time.
And, yes, I get that it’s a “kid’s show”, but you know what else was made for kids?
