Alright so I finished one of the fanart for Into the Spiderverse! First in line for the spiders is Peter Parker swinging- (Second photo’s the original thumbnail/sketch, and I really gotta figure out how to draw cityscapes, but this is a good first step.)

Another thing i loved about spiderverse (i can’t stop talking about this movie its soo good) is that miles is constantly getting love and positive affirmations thorougout the whole film?? Like it starts with his mom and dad saying “i love you” which is standard stuff. And then in the scene where miles swings for the first time peter says “I’m so proud of us. Me as the teacher who can still do it. You as the student who can do it just not as good.” The scene where his uncle dies and he says something like “its not your fault” and that “you’re on your way to something great”. And even when peter lets him down gently when he can’t stop the collider because he’s not experienced yet he’s all like “i wish it wasn’t me who did this but sorry bud you can’t go.” And that Speech™ his dad does?? The “i see this spark in you miles. Its amazing. Whatever you choose to do with it you’re gonna do great.” And then he says “you’re the best of all of us miles”. Like?? Poetic cinema he needed to hear that. And then at the end when noir is all like “i love you all” and peni says “thanks miles its nice to know I’m not alone.” And peter says “I’m so proud of you i love you!” Like??? Miles morales deserves the world and everyone telling him nice things because he’s a teen and he’s probably gonna go through angsty emo shit when he gets older and he’s gonna be stressed out with school and being spiderman so he needs to he surrounded by positive amd loving people!!

(This is also something i didn’t like about homecoming not having any real heartfelt “you cam do this” moments but that’s a whole nother subject/post)
