Imagine: Meeting Matt for the first time

You moved back to Hell’s Kitchen after quitting your job and move into an apartment complex near your old childhood house. Being a sensitive and light sleeper, the tiniest noises can wake you up— like the constant tapping noise that appears exactly at 6 pm every day. You go out into the hall to try and track the noise only to end up bumping noses with a very tall and handsome man, who upon further investigation appears to be blind. “My bad!” The man, who you later learn, is named Matthew, “It’s really no problem…?” “Y/N.” “Y/N… it was nice bumping into you.” His smile is kind and gentle… you wouldn’t mind seeing it again.

I used to think it would hurt less if you had just died instead of left me. If you had no choice, because that way I would have felt like you’d still love me even when you would be gone.
