Last crocheted work of 2022. I was possessed by the gods of creativity and productivity that I stayed up late for 2 nights finishing this, even as I was in the middle of my period. Granted, there are so many imperfectios here and there, but I am still amazed that I was able to create something like this. He's ugly, but I love him.

Another crocheted work that I didn't like making. But at least it's over so that I can make something else. I hope this won't be the last Scaramouche related craft I ever make. I'll cosplay Scaramouche next year, so I could redeem myself by doing better on that instead.

I have officially beaten Genshin Impact. Now, my only purpose in life is to make my Lord and Saviour stronger than ever.

Time to make this shirt again.

I somehow finished this in a single day (though I didn't sleep at all because of this). My first version of this pumpkin hat took me more than 2 weeks and countless pattern revisions. I still have to make some sort of chin strap and also maybe fix the front a little bit to make it more fashionable, but that's for tomorrow since I am very sleepy.

I'm just happy that I'm starting to finish my projects faster. Part of this is thanks to me buying a good hook with a comfortable handle and better yarn that is easier to crochet with. I have a few more nui clothes ideas I wanna bring to life, and I hope I finish them before the end of December.

Exhausted but I finished another narwhal plush today. There's still a few improvements I could make, but this is definitely better than my first attempt. If I keep up with my progress, that means I can make one narwhal plush a day until my yarn runs out. That's good progress for me.

The embroidery and sewing is still my least favourite part, but I'm getting better at it. I just need to make sure I get that spiral pattern right next time.

In other news, I am starting to prepare my cosplay for an upcoming convention. So that means more crafting and sewing for the next few weeks.

In other other news, I've been feeling miserable today about Scaramouche's trailers and possibly even his banner being delayed. There's nothing I can really do about it except feel bad feelings. Honestly, It do be kinda cringe that I've been so hyperfixated on this fictional guy for the past two years that he greatly affects my mood. But that's just how I be. I just have to remember that Scaramouche will definitely have his banner and all the waiting will be worth it. Gotta stay strong.

First attempt in making Tartaglia's narwhal plush. I should move the fins' position next time and also improve on my embroidery. I'm not sure if I want to make the narwhal horn smaller. I'll ask around to see what others think.

Showed a picture of the narwhal's underbelly in the last photo because it looks perfect imo. Crocheting-wise, I'm glad I made zero mistakes. I learned a new stitch too. The invisible decrease single crochet is so satisfying to make. Actually, this yarn I'm using is so good for crocheting that I refuse to work on other types of yarn from now on. (RIP to my boxes of other yarns)

Honestly, the worst part of making this was the sewing and the embroidery. I suck at both of those things.

I will be making a few of these to give away at an upcoming convention. I hope I make lots so that I can make some people happy.

Raising my baby kitten from the moment she was born was the greatest thing I've done in 2022.

Currently working on a Scaramouche doll that's taken me about half a month to complete. I should totally start writing down patterns to my works, but I eyeball my patterns like an Asian mom eyeballing ingredients in her cooking.

I've also been putting up my anime merch on my wall again. The walls in my house get wet when it rains, but it's the dry season, so I don't have to worry about ruining my merch.

Context about the broom: It's signed by Thoma's English voice actor, who offered to sign it when he saw me cosplaying his character. Just yesterday, I looked at the broom on the wall for a long time and said to myself, "Wow... this is really cringe."

I'm still proud of this merch wall though. Will decorate wall with more merch soon.

Just got my new batch of yarns. I feel very powerful. I wish I could crochet faster though. I feel bad about the fact that my yarn collection is getting bigger and my projects are just never done.

I actually kind of want to revive this blog somewhat. I'm sure this blog's post history is a mess, but let's just treat that like it's the attic or something. I'm certain I'll enjoy looking back at my old reblogs and posts when I'm in the mood to do so.

If I'm learning this right, tags help people find my posts better. But I do not wish to be found by anyone. I will enjoy my little corner of the internet and treat it like my aesthetic semi-public scrapbook of things I like.

For now, enjoy some of my crochet pieces. I hope to post more in the future.
