【ϟ】 Chazz honestly wasn’t sure which was worse—having this kid here trying to explain the situation or the bloodcurdling scream that burst from the next room over interrupt his thought process just before he was about to speak up. He could only offer Koneko’s agony a half hearted glance; his expression caught somewhere in between actual pity and annoyance before turning back to Ichi.

“Forget me asking what she’s got or how you’ve gotta be her messenger boy. Just tell me how long I’m gonna have to deal with this?” So I can go buy earplugs before the rest of the school buys them out.

But before Chazz got an answer, Ichi was already bolting away from his room, hurrying to scramble back to the door the screaming had come from; leaving Chazz to snap over the dorm’s second story railing. 

“—Hey! I’m serious about this, dork! Don’t think I won’t put in for a dorm transfer just because of her!”

Though he felt bad ditching his twin to have to grab her class work, all he could hope was that Chazz could keep his curiosity to a minimum until he returned.

"She hopefully will get better soon, I promise I'll bring back some headphones or ear plugs for you when I get back." He called over his shoulder. Though he had a gut feeling that that wouldn't be enough to appease his annoyance.

The room next door was silent for the most part, nothing but a few muffled sobs from Koneko. Inside the room itself, it looks as if a bomb had gone off. The clothes from her closet and dresser were scattered across the floor, furniture knocked over on their sides and moved to different locations. The only thing that was moving anymore was the gently fluttering of the blinds covering her window.

【ϟ】 If Ichi would’ve been paying attention, then Chazz probably didn’t even need to speak up to answer the others’ question. Just his expression alone as it dropped into a deadpan stare should’ve been enough to speak for itself. Koneko wasn’t just being loud. She was obnoxious—more so than she usually was just wandering around the dorms like she did. Still, Chazz wasn’t completely buying the kid’s story, either.

“Yeah, and just what exactly is she over there sick with anyway?” The question was deliberate. Chazz could pick up on how Koneko’s twin brother seemed to be avoiding the topic entirely. “ ‘Cause unless it’s some rare disease that makes a person loose their mind, no ‘sick’ person should be over there making that much noise.”

Even Jaden wasn’t that insufferable on most days and from anyone who knew of Chazz’s schoolyard rivalry with the Slifer Red would know that was saying a lot.

Well, it was obvious what he wasn't exactly the most friendly of neighbors now was he? Just the look on his face was enough to tell Ichiro that he shouldn't say anything that could welcome more questions from the irritated duelist.

"Uh well.. It's.." He really should have thought this through more before coming over this way. "I guess you could say it is rare, and it does hurt her, a lot." Ichi sighed out, rubbing the back of his neck. By the look on his face, he was all out of excuses to come up with. He had to say something though to get this guy to back off of his sister, however.

"Look, all I can really say is that what's wrong with her is excruciating for her, and it's something that she gets frequently. This isn't exactly the first time this has happened. I will try to keep her as quiet as I can but--" He was cut off by an obviously antagonized yell from the room next door, making him look over in worry for a moment before letting out a sigh. "I'll do what I can, but I have to go to her class and get her work for the day. If she makes too much noise while I am gone, I am sorry, but I will be back as quick as I can. Just try to ignore her as much as possible."

He didn't have much time to lose if it was starting to escalate over in the next room. Ichi was already half way down the stairs, headed for the main building so he could make it back before Chazz went over and hit her with a bat to silence her or something.
