Satin Jackets Feat. Emma Brammer- We Can Talk

Satin Jackets return to Eskimo Recordings with ‘We Can Talk’, featuring the majestic vocals of UK-based singer Emma Brammer and remixes by Moullinex and Larse. ‘We Can Talk’ is the first single from the upcoming Satin Jackets debut album. Original darlings of Belgium’s long standing Eskimo imprint, Satin Jackets announce their debut album with another unashamedly vocal pop anthem featuring Emma Brammer. “‘We Can Talk’ sets the pace for the upcoming album,” the duo explained, “the album itself will be diverse and versatile. Two years of our heart and soul poured into it so it’s going to be the full listening experience.” ‘We Can Talk’ is an enveloping record delivering classy piano melodies, crisp beats and a soaring vocal from Scottish Emma Brammer. Recently featured on BBC Radio, London based Brammer elevates the mood for the new year as she explains, “I was hooked on the track [from] the first time. The lyrics are about the exciting and painful first love - maybe it's not so good for you but it feels historical. Loved working with Tim - just good vibes and good tunes.” This indelible record from Satin Jackets comes with a genre-crushing remix from Portuguese native and Munich-based Moullinex, one of the founders of Discotexas, familiar for stellar remixes of RAC and Röyksopp & Robyn. The package is completed by a stripped back dub version by German producer Larse, renowned for work on Defected and Noir.

Enjoy it, this one will be stuff with you for a while.

Cool Down Sunday 01/03/2016

Time to slow things down once again before heading into the workweek. The year's first "Cool Down" playlist features tracks from Some of Music-Agogo's favorites. We have a brand new track from newcomer Sad Eyes (RIP Shmallen), which samples one of our favorite tracks from Adele. We also have new tracks from Aussie producer Yeo and Atlanta-based producer Demo Taped, both were featured in our very first "Cool Down" playlist, we're delighted to have found new tracks from them to include in this one. We have some new names to introduce you to as well, I open this one with a really chill track from LA native Billie Eillish, and followed up with a brand new one from French producer Clarens. There are tons of fun tracks in this one, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed compiliting it. Happy New Year! Hit play and enjoy.

Brand new remix from the homie Eau Claire to start the week off proper. She's got a lot of good things cooking in the studio so we should get an EP from her early into 2016. Until then, throw this on and enjoy!

Warehouse Of Wigs (Charity event)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and is ready to dance the fat away. I have a very special one for you this year. Do you like wigs? Do you like to party? Do you like to feed people? Do you like to wear wigs and party while feeding (figuratively speaking) people? The glorious "D-Day Celebration" which normally takes place at The Tribeca Grand Hotel has transformed into a full fledged warehouse party aptly titled "Warehouse Of Wigs" where 100% of ticket proceeds are going to Rescuing Leftover Cuisine. I mean this party will have everything: wigs, DJs, dancers, drum circles, open bar, laaaasseeeeerrrsss, projection mapping, Wig 'o War and more...Clearly this is the party you do not want to miss. #FOMO. See below for details:

Venue: The Wick || 260 Meserole Street, Brooklyn, NY

Commandeur - With Me

Sydney producer Commandeur blew many away back in September with his incredible debut single ‘Wasted’, and this week he is back to do it all again with his next incredible offering, ‘With Me’. Like most of Commandeur’s music, ‘With Me’ was written and recorded at his home studio in Sydney. The original idea was written a few years ago and went through many changes over the time since, gradually evolving into something that just felt absolutely right. Commandeur teamed up with fellow producers Goodland (Joel Farland & Alex Gooden) to help polish it up with some shiny production and mixing prowess, before asking his good friend Kristy Peters (aka KLP), to help bring the track to life with lyrics and melodies. A glistening synth builds into a chorus of atmospheric awareness with distant vocal echoes and subtle electronic beats. Commandeur’s smooth comforting voice begins to sing its words of reassurance and love, as it moves gracefully through an enchanting world of hypnotic electronic sounds, twinkling synths and showering vocal echoes. Bob Moses - Tearing Me Up (Slaptop Remix)

Probably the best thing that came out of Burning Man this year, if you're not a Burner that is. Slaptop was so inspired by Bob Moses's set at Burning Man this year that he went home and reconstructed their single "Tearing Me Up." The below is the end result. You're in for a real treat.
