she woke up the next morning & cuddled into him more.
He was still snoring.
she ran a finger along his jaw before getting up to use the shower.
He rolled over.
she just kind of sat in the shower with the water on cold.
He woke up a few minutes later and noticed Carmen was no longer in bed.
Carmen was hugging a bottle of conditioner in the cold shower.
He knocked on the door. “Carmen?”
she glanced up from the drain. ❝ … yeah…? ❞
“Are you okay?”
❝ … no… ❞ he could enter if he wanted to. she was just sitting in the shower still in her clothes.
“… Do you need anything?”
❝ no… i’m good… ❞
“Okay. Let me know if you need anything.”
❝ okay… ❞
“I’ll be making breakfast downstairs.”
❝ alright… ❞
He fed the bunnies before starting on breakfast.
she eventually turned the water off & kept sitting in the shower.
By that time, Abel had finished making breakfast.

He woke up a few minutes later and noticed Carmen was no longer in bed.

He knocked on the door. “Carmen?”
