Crowley cussed under his breath and gave the bookshop another wary look. It should have been comforting to learn that his unpredictability was predictable, but that uncertainty piled on top of his already impatient craving was an uncomfortable combination. Still, it was better than the alternative: that Aziraphale was in some kind of trouble, or, God forbid, avoiding him on purpose.
