Tears

After tossing and turning around her bed for what felt like hours, (Y/N) decided to get out and make herself a cup of tea. She wasn’t sure why she couldn’t fall asleep, but she knew something was wrong. Aside from the storm outside, there was a little voice inside her head that told her to stay awake. And so she did. After making her tea, she went to the living room and light up a fire. She snuggled on the sofa with her blanket and her book as her brother and her parents were soundly asleep. And then, it happened. She heard a loud noise coming from her kitchen and she stood up, wand in hand, running to see what was going on.

“Sirius?” she asked looking at the boy in the middle of her kitchen. Sirius turned around and locked eyes with her.

“(Y/N)” he said before collapsing on the floor.

“SIRIUS!” she screamed, running towards him and trying to help him up. “Sirius, what happened? I’m going to get my parents-”

“No, don’t leave” he said, pulling her arm towards him.

“I won’t” she promised before yelling at her brother. “JAMES!”

“N-no, don’t wake them up, love” Sirius insisted.

“Sirius, you are bleeding” she said looking down at his arm.

“Is nothing-”

“Is not nothing!” she complained. “JAMES! MUM! DAD!”

“What the bloody hell, (Y/N)? Is the middle of the fucking night-” James complained, entering the kitchen, but he stopped when he saw the scene in front of him. “Pads?”

“Go get mum and dad-”

“What happened-?”

“JAMES! Go get mum and dad!” she insisted. James nodded and quickly left the room to find their parents.

a/n: extremely late, i apologise. wanted a break from my socials for a while.

In the beginning, conversations were short and quick to end. Mostly because; both of you were new to the relationship and didn't know what to say.
Sirius would always try his best to talk about silly things to keep the flow. Like how he and James secretly went to the kitchens at night and almost got caught by Flinch.
You’d keep quiet most of the time other than laughing a bit, shaking your head or telling how your day went and giving short answers to Sirius’ questions. There were times when you wanted to give a witty remark but would miss the chance- once, twice, thrice and many times.
Of course, our lovely Mr Black noticed that- so he decided something called; MISSION: LOOSEN UP YOUR DATE.
Yea. Not good at giving titles.
He got some tips to make you relaxed and freer to talk from his fRiEnDs.
James: Lily loves tickle fights. Why don’t you try that?
Remus: Terrible idea! Just cuddle up in the common room.
Peter: That sucks too, PDA is bad for single people!
Sirius: Can I please get actual.help.and.tips…………..!!!????
Nevertheless, after some time, you became comfortable with Sirius and opened up to the point you were also telling dumb jokes. The best part? Sirius would actually laugh at it.
You: so, is your fridge running?
Sirius: What???
You: Just answer the question. Is it running or not?
Sirius: Yep.
You: Then you better catch it ;)

He almost fell off the seat from the stupidity of the joke, rip his back.
MOVING ON (this isn’t inspired from my personal experience hahaha- umm)
Gradually, the two of you started going on double dates with Lily and James! Or go shopping in Hogsmeade with everyone.
It was a blast.
Sirius loved seeing your happy expressions, the way your eyes crinkled at the edges and your lips curling up ahhh- lost of moments where he forgot how to breathe.
Anyways, regardless of how you are; shy, introverted, awkward, outgoing or hot-tempered- Sirius would love bits and pieces of you to heaven and beyond.

George Weasley, your best friend in the entire world, had officially become the person you wanted to kill. He had begun asking you on dates almost daily. You mostly brushed it off, but it was starting to get repetitive and annoying.

“You. Me. The Yule Ball. What do you say?” George asks you on your way to potions class. “George for the 18th time I am not going on a date with you,” you say, walking away from the stubborn redhead. “Listen, I’m a real party and I feel like-” George begins. You turn to him and place your hand over his mouth. “Listen, this has been fun but I’m really not looking for a boyfriend, so please stop.”

Thankfully, George accepted your wishes. For two whole weeks you studied without the added burden of George asking you out. Today you were sitting in the Great Hall eating breakfast with Fred and Lee. You sat across from the two boys and drowsily ate your toast. “So where’s George?” Lee asked. Both you and Fred gave a simple shrug before returning to your breakfast.

“Aren’t you two useless,” Lee states, looking around the Great Hall. “There he is. He’s talking to some Ravenclaw girl.” You turn around to find him intently chatting with a very pretty girl. She wrapped her fingers through her hair and laughed at something George had said. Your jaw dropped slightly before you composed yourself. “Excuse me, boys.”

Two pairs of eyes followed you as you made your way over to George. He only noticed you once you were right in front of him. “Oh, hi-” You once again cut off the boy. You placed your hands on either side of his face, pulling his face to yours. Your lips locked and everything around you faded, leaving you and George alone.

“Took you long enough!” Lee yelled from across the hall. You pulled away from George and smiled at the two boys before returning your attention to George. “What was that for?” he asked with a small laugh. “Well, let’s just say, I accept your invitation.”

You were staying with the Weasley’s and your bedroom was freezing. “George?” you called, You walked downstairs to find George, a blank stare on his face. You sat down beside him, gently taking his hand in yours. “Merry Christmas, love.” George turns to you and smiles. “Merry Christmas.” His eyes are red, and your heart hurts looking at him hurting. You wrap your arm around him. “I promise it will get better. He wants you to be happy.” A tear rolls down his cheek and you gently wipe it away before kissing it’s track.

“He loved Christmas. It was his second favorite, behind April Fools, of course.” You laughed. “He never pranked anyone on Christmas. I was always scared when I spent it here, but he was always kind.” George smiled. “It was his one day he would never pull a joke. He swore it off.” “See? He wouldn’t want you to be sad on his favorite day.” George drew in a deep breath and leaned into your chest. “I know.” George kissed your hand. “I love you.” “I love you too, and so does Fred.”

Going to the Yule Ball with your best friend, George Weasley, wasn’t how you expected to spend your evening. Now, as you sit next to the lively redhead, you were glad to have his company.

He had been squirming in his chair for the last ten minutes, chattering absentmindedly as he bounced his foot to the upbeat tune that filled the air. After a moment, the music changed to a slower, more intimate song. Slowly, couples began filling the open space that was reserved for dancing. You glanced longingly at the groups of your classmates, wishing that you had someone to twirl you around the Great Hall as well.
