I had wanted to do a much longer comic where Raph goes into exactly how he feels about Ronnie, and really explain how just because the feelings aren't romantic, they're still important and fulfill the needs of their relationship, but honestly it didn't feel very in-character of him.

I feel like Raph would just go with it, you know? He trusts his heart to lead him without stopping to question it. He doesn't need to explain himself, and I believe that's true for everyone on the aromantic spectrum. You don't need to explain anything. You can just find people who will take you & love you as you are. Just be yourself, and give your love the way that feels right to you.

going to comment a little on this game: the overseeing voice talks as if it owns you, and defies your free will. if you follow its orders, you are praised, and the worldview becomes sharper and more detailed. if you don’t, you are chastised, and the world becomes more vague and difficult to navigate, but also more colourful and loud. it’s odd, and sort of eerie, but definitely interesting. take it as you will.

This game really unsettles me. It unsttles me that my first choice to obey, and when I played again and disobeyed, I got really emotional really fast. Failure hurt me more the more I disobeyed. It was… interesting to experience.

you obey everything the game tells you too, even jumping into barbs and basically killing yourself. if you dont youre chastised and even the scolding is terrifying

So, essentially, it’s a game that illustrates what it’s like to be in an abusive parents or an abusive relationship - and how it affects you emotionally. That is horrific and ingenious - the next time someone negates the affects of emotional abuse, I’ll take them to this game and let them come to their own conclusions.

This game absolutely gets it. The most solid and reliable degradation is a gendered insult. The more you obey and co-operate, the better understanding you seem to have of your word, and things seem easier. But what really gets me is the contradiction. You are not allowed to have the correct answer. Are you a boy or a girl? The answer is no, I will give you the answer. even towards the end, your “praise” is “no, I will give you the answer. You earned this answer, but it is given to you by me.” Disobeying makes the world frightening and confusing and difficult, but beautiful in a world devoid of flavour.

this reminds of these kids I used to nanny. the eldest (8 at the time) taught me how to play chess with this set. I remember him going over the pieces and stated that Luigi was the queen and he, no joke, said “because he’s the nicest and you have to protect someone like that” that has always stuck in my head whenever I see Luigi now

Complaining about things that don't matter part one: Akito What is Your Hair Color

Outside of Virtual Singers, when limited hairstyles mess with hair colors it either involves adding colored streaks,

Changing the locations of existing colored parts,

Or changing the colors of colored areas.

However, Akito's colofes hair instead adds a gradient, which usually isn't done in the game, and it's higher up than other gradients in the game, thus looking a lot like he has darker roots and his hair is dyed.

Though prsk usually insists that all characters' hair, no matter how wacky, is natural, this is the first time any evidence is given towards their hair being dyed as opposed to against it (outside of ensekai saying Saki's pink tips are dyed even when this wasn't said in the original text). Furthermore, seeing as it comes from Akito, whose yellow streaks are the only fully confirmed dyed hair in the game, and whose hair doesn't match his father's or older sister's in the slightest while his roots in this card are a lot closer, it makes sense to take this as his hair being dyed.

Even though his hair is shown to be orange in his older child live2d and without the yellow streaks, I've seen many a 11-12 year old sporty boy that wears graphic t-shirts and acts like little Akito did, they're prone to dying their hair outrageous colors.

So my headphones theory thing seems correct!
