Tsundere!Dawon // Part I

A/N: yeah well sf9 got me fucked up so here. uhhhhh this is probably gonna have like 3 parts i’m not sure yet. also sorry if there are a lot of errors or if it doesn’t completely make sense in some parts. i wrote this pretty fast and didn’t proof read!!! but enjoy and remember, feedback is always nice <3

• he’s been hurt a lot in his past

• everyone used to know him as the happy virus

• he was never in a bad mood

• but that all changed over a summer break

• he ended the school year as happy as ever, but returned the following autumn with a completely different attitude

• no one knows exactly what happened—not even his closest friends

• but whatever it was, it’s caused his life to slowly but surely deteriorate

• he used to get straight a’s and be kind to others

• but now he just kind of acts like a douche

• you never really talked to sanghyuk because from what you knew,

• he didn’t even look at girls

• it didn’t bother you though, because he’s just one person

• he soon just stopped going to school

• he just basically stopped showing up because he didn’t see the point anymore

• you only heard rumors about him and although you wouldn’t like to admit it, the rumors made you curious

• who just goes from being a good human being to someone who doesn’t even give others the time of day?

• but in the end you always thought it was never your business to ask around about someone else’s life

• so one day, you decide to make a trip to the store to buy some snacks for you and your friend

• you’re just minding your business

• when you see a guy slip a bottle of liquor under his jacket

• you kind of watch for a second, not wanting to falsely accuse him of stealing

• but sure enough

• you see him look around then beeline for the door

• “hey! you didn’t even pay for that!”

• you shout, dropping the items in your arms to run after the guy

• just as you exit the store, you see him turn into an alley

• “got you.” you whisper to yourself as you full on sprint into the alley

• luckily, this guy doesn’t seem very smart.

• he’s stopped against the brick wall of a building, opening the newly stolen alcohol

• you immediately bolt towards him and grab the bottle out of his hands

• “you can’t just steal like that and expect to get away with it”

• “give me my bottle back, little girl” the guy says angrily “or you’ll regret it”

• this doesn’t scare you because

• what’s he gonna do? fight you?

• you bet he tries to fight you

• the man grabs both of your wrists and spins so your back is against the wall

• this causes you to drop the bottle, shattering it

• as sanghyuk turns out of a door in the dark alley, he hears the shattering glass

• he glances over to see the guy, manhandling you, and you struggling to get out of his grasp

• he stops for a second

• he can’t just let some girl get possibly seriously injured from some jerk

• he’s not that bad of a person

• sanghyuk rolls his eyes before walking over to the situation

• he grabs the mans arm and yanks him backwards, away from you

• “i suggest you leave her alone” he says with no emotion

• the guy chuckles before pushing sanghyuk back

• sanghyuk sighs before staring at the guy with an eerily calm facial expression

• and then you come out of nowhere and punch the guy in his face

• “that’s what you get, asshole! pay the price physically since you can’t just hand the cashier the money!”

• you try to hit the man again, but you feel a force holding you back

• sanghyuk

• “let me go!” you yell, ready to pounce on the guy

• before sanghyuk can even speak, you guys hear a group of older men from the other end of the alley

• “do we have a problem?” on of them shouts as they begin to run towards you guys

• without another word, sanghyuk grabs your hand and sprints out of the alley

• it feels like you two are running forever

• you keep running hard with him until you can’t feel your legs anymore

• “i think we lost them” you say to him as you stop running, leaning down with your hands on your knees, trying to catch your breath

• he stops and takes a quick glance at you before looking away

• and he just starts to walk away

• “where are you going?” you question him as you begin to follow him

• he answers with only one word “home.”

• you turn your head in confusion but continue to follow him

• it isn’t until he’s halfway there that he notices that you’re still behind him

• “what are you doing?” he asks without looking back at you, still walking

• you clear your throat awkwardly

• “well… i don’t know where we are.”

• sanghyuk stops in his tracks

• “so you’re telling me that not only did i save you, but i also need to go out of my way to take you home?”

• you scoff “did i ask you to help me? i would’ve been completely fine by myself” you roll your eyes

• “i doubt you could’ve held your ground.” sanghyuk shoots back, still not taking one look at you

• you cross your arms. “you’re mean.”

• he looks up at you, but only for a quick second. “what are you? five?”

• “i may be acting childish, but at least i’m not mean.” you pout

• sanghyuk sighs

• you’re really starting to get on her nerves

• “where do you live?” he asks you

• you tell him and he groans

• “if you live on the other side of town, why the hell were you at that convenient store.”

• “just take me to my friends house. it’s right by the store” you tell him

• he doesn’t speak before turning around, walking opposite of the direction you came

• you’re beginning to get irritated

• “we should take a different route, because they might be looking for us” he informs you

• you’re irritation begins to go away because you think for a second

• he must know a lot about this stuff

• maybe all the rumors about him are true

• eventually, you make it to your friends house, with the help of sanghyuk

• he’s ready to just leave until you ask him to wait for a minute

• “uh, thanks a lot for helping me. that was really nice of you.” you start to say

• he just stands awkwardly, not knowing exactly what to say

• “i want to pay you back in some way” you smile at him not that he’s looking at you

• still, sanghyuk is unsure of how to respond

• “meet me outside of the store tomorrow at like 4pm and i’ll pay you back for helping me today.” you walk into your friends house, thinking about the recent events

• they happened pretty quickly, and out of nowhere, but you’re pretty sure that from how much he helped you today, that he’s not a bad kid.

• there’s something about him & you want to find out what it is
