despite everything, i really was a clown til the end. i really thought gendry was gonna pop out from a cabin and go stand with arya on the deck. i really hoped to see a baratheon flag on the sails next to the stark flag. but nope. nothing.

I loved that part in the ending where Jon asks Arya where she’s going and she says she’s gonna go to Storm’s End because she’s in love and is CHOOSING LIFE AND LOVE after a lifetime of being hunted and tortured and suffering through unimaginable loss, death, tragedy and hate.
What a wonderful way to end the character arc of one of the most tragic and beloved characters in the show.
Glad they didn’t do something stupid with her like have her end up in a boat full of strangers, just as alone as she has been for most of the series, sailing off to fuck knows where without any real purpose or reason for leaving both her blood family and her found family.
Really loved it.
What was the point in jaime getting captured by Robb Stark, what was the point of Catelyn releasing him, what was the point of him losing his hand, what was the point in him saving brienne, what was the point in him saving tyrion, what was the point in him going to dorne, what was the point in him going to the Riverlands, what was the point in him going north, what was the point in him knighting brienne, what was the point in him fighting the dead, what was the point in him fucking brienne? The only relevant thing jaime ever did was try to murder a child. I have to laugh.
