Explain your reasoning plzzz

A lump sum puts a target on your back. There are countless stories of family becoming greedy, random strangers stalking lottery winners in the hope they might fund their latest 'i just need investment to hit it off big' scheme, kidnappings, all manner of unscrupulous con artists trying to isolate and defraud their target. There is also the issue of scale, lottery winners lose all sense of reason when given large sums of money and quickly spiral down to bankruptcy.

1000 a day is still a life changing amount, but its just low enough to fly under the radar. With a little patience you can slowly fix your life, afford a nice home, make the changes you want without it being too noticeable and putting your wellbeing at risk. You have a daily budget that even if it is ridiculous will still keep you at least vaguely tethered and have to plan ahead for those grand purchases. After a few years of this you'll have enough saved away that the interest on it will start adding up too, all without ruining your life.

You could start funding charities with standing payments, again not enough to be noticed but certainly enough you'll be making a difference. Even 700 a week, just 10% of your incoming money, would be enough to keep a local food bank running and put some good into your local community.
