Absolutely fucking dying over the name of this painting. We've had cats figured out since day fucking one

Also dying because the cat is indeed witnessing (i.e., signing) the act and deed (the document getting ink spilled on it).

Timothy Chalamet passed away last night after choking on a single frozen unchewed green pea. Family members confirmed his passing in a statement to the media "it's how he liked to eat them"

ℹ️ Readers added context you might want to know

that;s yrue

what makes this even funnier to me is that it's a Skyline GT-R, a car that was only made for the Japanese market, meaning it's right hand drive. which means that if you wanted to go through a drive thru that's made for left hand drive cars, you would have to go in reverse in order to be on the side with the drive thru window

Honestly we need a feminist movement again. I get that twerfs soured a lot of people on it but transfeminists are still developing illuminating and vital theory and I think it's time we all get behind that. It's the only antidote to the men's rights movement wave going on especially in LGBT spaces (for lack of a better term)

another thing about discoursing about whether or not people without Identity X can make Authentic art about the X experience is that what is Authentic and Powerful and Revelatory for some X people is trite pandering toothless garbage or lurid exploitation to others innit

every time a new disney or disney-adjacent Latinx Making A Taco movie comes out there are tons and tons of very real latine people (usually usamericans) for whom this is powerful and authentic and speaks to something special about their lives that they're happy to see in da movies. and i take one look and think "this looks condescending and vapid". which doesn't mean that the people for whom it is authentic and resonant are being duped or are fake latines or whatever. it just means that trying to pin down the qualifications that make something Authentic is kind of a fool's game because there is not actually any one latine/queer/female/asian-american/&c. experience, only a million different ones that overlap in broad and tiny ways with millions of others.

you know how sometimes you see a shape from a distance and hope it's a cat or other small pettable animal. but it turns out to be just a plastic bag or something. well that's sort of what just happened to me, except for some reason i decided it must be a gargoyle statue someone had decided to abandon on the side of the road. so i think i may have just had a truly unique human experience.
