Trying to say Jyn doesn’t deserve the loyalty of the rest of her team, really? Why don’t you try growing up with no family, raised by a guy who is…let’s face it…not quite able to provide a stable home and then abandoned by him too? Who has been alone???? for most of her life?

And can we stop acting like the rest of the Rogue One team were perfect angels????? The whole point was that none of them were. They have all done terribly shitty things. If you are really going to come after the one female of the group, but leave the men unscathed, you are to be quite honest,,,,,,,,confused.

You may have heard rumors by now          leaks regarding a BATTLE STATION integrating an advanced laser prototype. The battle station is REAL. Its primary weapon has been built to penetrate the crust of a planetary object, to pour energy into a world until the bonds of matter fray and break. The ULTIMATE RESULT           we believe          would be the planet’s violent obliteration. Nothing would survive. Nothing could ever be rebuilt. The battle station….
We call it the Death Star. There is no better name.

“Luke Skywalker?” He was only mildly surprised by that - the last he had heard Luke was still missing, but then again, the Jedi were strange and distance likely meant little to them - so he offered a tight lipped smile. “So you are to be a Jedi?”

She’s almost positive that there’s never been a time where her father’s held her this securely. Jyn buries her face against his shoulder, as if that could block out the commands of the man who ordered her mother’s death. It doesn’t take more than a moment before she’s yanked from his arms, fingers desperately trying to hold on as a trooper restrains her, her body shaking with barely-restrained sobs.

“Its all right!” he promises again, although he’s not sure - hopefully Jyn is more easily lied to than Krennic - and the engineer bites back a scowl and angry words which would win him no favor with their captors. “Was that truly needed?” he asks instead.
