What sports/activities headcanons do you have for the losers?? (Please please please say Eddie and Richie both do track. I mean,,, look at the shorts?)
yeah I could see the both of them doing track, but after their glory days as middle school boys, the idea wears off into high school. I have always considered Stan a baseball player (I believe this is in the book as well) but it just seems to fit him so well!! For Mike I could also see him into track and running as a whole, but maybe more as a hobby to keep fit?? I see him mainly as a football player throughout high school. I feel like Bill gives baseball a shot but ends up finding himself better at soccer. Ben, track, of course!! As for Bev, I don’t strike her as one to go out for a sport, but if she did I’d say softball. She likes to slide into the bases. Her and Stan can go to one another’s games and cheer for each other.

i went to the re-release of IT (2017) last night and first of all: it was so nice to actually see the movie in the theatre again, because watching it at home just sells it short! and I also stayed for the added scene from CH2, and OH MY GOD! the tension was built so well and the scene ran close to 7-8 minutes, which I wasn’t expecting!! if you have seen the scene (lol) and wanna talk about it feel free to message me/send me an ask!

The chapters with these two are my favorite, so I decide to illustrate so of them. As always, all for you, guys <3
- 8 - Georgie’s Room and the House on Neibolt Street
winter losers club hcs
-the sound of boots crushing snow drives ben insane
-richie always makes another member of the losers club take a photo of him in a christmas tree yard. they get kicked out every year
-monopoly and hot cocoa nights at stan’s house
-accidental sweater matching, most frequently between stan and richie since they both have a similar body type
-everyone always makes note to wish stan a happy hanukkah when it begins
-the grand gift exchange between all of them always takes place at ben’s house and the rules are: 1) no holiday sweater? no entry. 2) no finger food? no entry.
-ben always hangs the mistletoe in a different place and everyone (minus richie) tries to spot it as soon as they can
-mike always brings his mom’s infamous holiday bread that the losers all love so much
-eddie always buys each of them something as well as makes them something
-bill is a dirty whore for eggnog and everyone else hates it so he brings his own every year
-they have a sacred christmas song tape that they made in their eighth grade year and refuse to play anything else at the party
-stan just wants it to be snowing all of the time, if there is ever a dry day he is cranky
-bev sticks a candy cane on her coffee in the mornings during the month of december
-on a saturday night they will pile into mike’s truck and its bed and look at the christmas lights. richie brings a thermos of his infamous hot cocoa
-richie’s super spectacular sweet hot cocoa recipe- came about freshman year one morning around one am. he found every morsel of chocolate in his pantry, ground it into a fine powder or small chunks and made cocoa with it. it turned out amazing. he makes it every year and everyone brings their own mug
-after school one day, they go to a pottery shop and paint mugs for their designated “christmas lights in mike’s truck” night.
-beverly has a little christmas tree in her bedroom that is decorated in little christmas tree ornaments gifted to her by each one of the boys to remind her of them and that she can turn to whenever she feels lonely.
-mike always develops a caffine addiction at this time of year because they always seem to be out and getting coffee
-during finals, the losers who have classes get together and study. richie and bev always end up in the same history class together and they make a whole day of it with food and endless pots of coffee and cigarettes.
-this is also the time of year that the holiday play is for school, which richie is usually in and stan and bev usually work technicals for, so the losers all go and see it with flowers in hand. they always roll into a waffle house afterwards and stay for a few hours.
-when it comes to black friday, they all go out. usually richie oversleeps and joins a few hours late, but he is there nonetheless. ben always knocks out his holiday shopping in this one day, and mike usually tries to but can never seem to find anything for his folks.
-eddie watches It’s A Wonderful Life every year with a mound of blankets over top of him
-bev always gets super creative with her makeup at this time of year, from red lips to golden eyes to silver and gold freckles and neon liner.
-everyone agrees that it is the red lip and golden freckles that suit her best though.
-for volunteer hours one year, stan and richie decide to volunteer at the mall as elves for santa photos. they regret it within the first hour.
-bill, ben, and richie always get super dry skin in the winter and they all come crawling to bev for help
-Christmas Vacation is a favorite among all of them and they try to watch it together all year
-for each night of hanukkah, one loser will get him something and give it to him. they pull sticks to see which one of them has to double up
-after christmas day, they always slap together a new years eve party which is usually just a few stolen beers and maybe a bottle of champagne if they are lucky.
