My first graphic memoir about being asian and severely mentally ill is coming out on March 7! You can preorder it everywhere (which is preferred to buying it after it releases bc bookstores are more likely to stock it)
It took me 3-4 years to draw all 350 pages on Procreate (default brushes! Bonobo chalk and Dry Ink) and I’m so excited for everyone to see it

Hi! I saw your fish paintings today and I love them. I’m curious about what kind of paints you’re using, I saw the tubes in the photo but I’m not familiar with the brand. I was able to find their website but didn’t glean much. Are they gouache? The fish look like they could be gouache.
Hi! Thank you! They’re poster colors, the brand is Nicker! I got them in Japan—they’re used by the studio Ghibli painters :-)
