Heaven is losing her battle with cancer. She’s only 16 years old. Without Heaven and Taylor Swift, I would not be here today. If you can please repost, I’d greatly appreciate it (Read below)

REPOST AND TAG @taylorswift please!

Taylor,

We all know you have a huge heart. You have inspired me to give and to go out of my way to help others. It all started when I saw a link on facebook that said “Taylor swift meets st Jude” At the time, I wanted my life to end. I was on a family trip in Paris with my dad and my twin sister (my mom passed when I was 11). My sister was being very mean to me. One night, I became extremely suicidal. I told my dad that the next morning to not let me go run because I planned that next day to go drown myself in the water on the path I was running on every morning. Right before bed, I was scrolling though facebook. I saw this link: http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2011/12/south_middleton_girl_buys_toys.html“ I started writing on her facebook wall http://www.facebook.com/hopeforheaven and was doing everything I could to meet her. 7 months later, it finally happened!! I got to spend a week and half with her- and it was the best week and a half of my life! We jammed to Taylor Swift every single day. We wore a Taylor shirt every day too. Ever since I found out about Heaven, I’ve raised well over $5000 for Heaven and St. Jude. A few friends and I had a bake sale a few weekends ago and raised $130 the first day and $140 the second day. August 15th, I’m having a car wash. I collect every single pop tab I see. The Pop tabs go to st jude and get turned into money.

If I didn’t see that post, I wouldn’t be here today.

Heaven is in Pennsylvania, and I am in Kansas. Unfortunately, I don’t have the 700 plus dollars it costs to go see her one last time, or to attend her service. It breaks my heart. I wish I had a magic jet. But I don’t. The best way I can help is to give back. I’m running my first half marathon in December for st jude. I’ll be running for Heaven. As of right now, I’ve raised $1013!! My goal by September (childhood cancer awareness month) is $1989. My final goal is over $2500. If I hit $2500, I get a tour of St. Jude. That would mean the world to me. My dream job would be to work there. If you’d like to donate, you can. Http://heroes.stjude.org/kelscrandell

Taylor, thank you for making such a difference in not on my life, but so many others lives as well. You truly have a heart of gold.

I love you, Kels (and heaven)

Ps. The picture of the note is from a little gymnast I coach. I told her about heaven (I wear my heaven bracelet every day and she asked about it cause she always sees it on me) she came to work yesterday and she came to practice to give this to me. I think it’s the sweetest note I’ve ever received.

“I like to switch up what people are seeing, I don’t want them to see too many choreographed numbers in a row. I want there to be dynamic changes throughout the whole show like you won’t see a full show of nothing but choreographed dances. There are are going to be some acoustic numbers, there are going to be some of just me and the band, there are some where it’s just focused only on what I’m doing performing. You have to switch it up cause people get bored. More easily in 2015 than ever before.”
