with all the discourse/hate happening in the spn fandom since the finale I think im just gonna take it as a sign to ~rebrand~ this blog with my other interests and say goodbye.

thanks for 5 years of fun dudes! its been a blast. dont be surprised if you see very little spn content coming out of here and more kpop/kdrama/caos and other random content coming through.

yes! overall, I liked it. I feel like they dropped this today to soothe my supernatural blues lol. even though it often sounds like careless pop, bts lyrics always hit you like a train. I’m in love with “blue & grey” because I’m that sad b*tch. I’m still really into the mots era, but this work really feels like them. @deathtonormalcy56

I feel like the album is the only thing getting me through today lol. Di sease is my personal favorite but thats just cause I'm in love with hobi and it just screams him. And agreed about it feeling like them, kinda bummed not everyone is super positive about it. At least that I've seen.

The only thing im going to say about the finale:

I love Bobby, I do. But Cas should've been the one welcoming Dean into heaven. He was the one always reminding dean he was indeed worthy to be saved and good, so he should be the one welcoming him in.

It should've been done on the dock that Dean is fishing at when Cas visits him in his dreams way back in like s4 or whenever. He tells him everything that happened. How the walls are broken and he can see and be with everyone again, forever.

And then Dean can drive around heaven. Sprinkle in shots of him finding all the extended family they lost along the way. Charlie, Bobby, Mary, John, Jo, Ellen, etc. A montage of him telling them of all the crazy things they missed while they were gone.

He eventually makes it to the bridge. He is happy, at peace with himself and the journey that brought him there. And then Sam comes 'home', just like they did in the episode.

I don't hate the ending, I just wished it would've been executed slightly different.

Like I can perfectly visualize Dean standing on the dock. There is the exact cheap chair, a fishing pole, a cooler and a radio. The cooler is stocked with his favorite beer. The radio is softly playing any song of choice from the long classic rock playlist of spn.

He is smiling, sadly. Still thinking of Sam. And then there is a familiar voice.

"Hello, Dean "

BAM THAT'S ALL I WOULD'VE NEEDED.

Also if Dean Winchester was going to go, it's supposed to be a blaze of glory. Not a random ass nail.

Anyways ill stop now cause if I keep going ill nitpick more and just make myself more upset.

YEAR FOUR

After your visit with Sam, much of the year went along as it did before. You both managed to stay in contact, and you tried your best to drive up to Stanford when you both were free. You helped Bobby divvy out jobs, even taking on more of your own. Things were going well, so well that you decided it was time to move out of Bobby’s and face the home you ran away from three years ago.

Content with your decision, Bobby helped pack your belongings – ignoring the slight hesitation you had when bringing down the black shoebox tucked away in the closet. He prepared a simple breakfast the next morning, forcing you to sit at his table just one more time. He even insisted on carrying the boxes into your car as you finished getting ready.

“I’m going to miss you, kid. Don’t be no stranger,” Bobby mumbled into your shoulder as he pulled you into a tight hug.

“I won’t.” Your words come out as a whisper.

With a pat on your back, Bobby let go. He gives you one last look over before opening the door of your car. You flash him a tight smile as you slide in. Cranking the engine to life, you coast out of his driveway – the dust of the road billowing up. Wiping away the tears steadily falling down your face, you turn onto the main road, Bobby’s waving hand faint in the distance.

The others have made me sad but this one made me cry 😢 I fear it’s only getting worse and I’m going to be sobbing on the floor in the fetal position by the time I’m done reading this series! 😩😫😢😭

I haven't written anything in so long and this series was the one I was so incredibly proud of, so I just want to let you know that seeing people like you enjoy it after all this time makes my heart so so full. xoxo
