my team for my replay of pokemon black 2. starting my replays, i wanted to use only pokemon introduced in each generation, but immediately had to make an exception for black 2 because the overlap of new pokemon / pokemon i actually liked / pokemon that were viable on a team / pokemon i didn’t use for my white team shrank sharply lol. i also leaned more into non-human gijinkas this time, so the order is: whimsicott (fairy), emboar (human), flygon (nature spirit/dragon), espeon (human), zoroark (fox spirit)

playing pokemon violet made me want to replay some of the older games, starting with gen 5 because i recalled b/w and b/w2 as games i enjoyed. and overall i still do!

so this was my team for my replay of pokemon white: samurott, reuniclus, leavanny, galvantula, krookodile, chandelure. most of my pokejinks are modern, but i decided to go with a fantasy-ish theme for my gen 5 ones.

my raid azumarill. i had to do raids to finish that one teacher’s side quest, so i did a little research and decided on the Huge Power ability / Adamant nature / Belly Drum azumarill. which is buff as heck, so the gijinka had to be buff as heck. when i was thinking about the gijinka, the words “raid maid” popped into my head, so here we are.

i finally finished a playthrough of Pyre.

it was a bit of a journey. see, i’d tried several times to play it years ago, but i really struggled with the gameplay, even on easy mode. it made me frustrated, and so i would leave the playthroughs unfinished. but i really loved everything aside from the basketball: the setting, the story, the characters... i even watched a playthrough of it (knowing full well that every player’s experience would be different due to the myriad of decisions)... finally, thanks to the power of friends who watched me stream (and reassigning keybinds), i finished a playthrough earlier this week.

it’s a lovely game. it’s full of soul, and art, and gosh i really, really like it, even if i get stressed by literally every rite haha
