SO many words. :o) READ! JOIN - be writing’s #1 fan, wear out the jersey, cover your space in it’s bumper stickers. Not literally but you see where I’m going with this (find events, meetings, awards, colleagues, submerse yourself)… Write, write write. NaNoWriMo!! YOU know I heard something recently that really resonated with me…. “Write, type, speak, draw, and collect letters or words (even bad) [and phrases] for it may be best to scatter the worst of them out right away. Every day. BUT especially those embarrassing below your skill level words, spit them out so you can make way. Imagine where your writing can head once the mistakes get out of the way.” [paraphrasing]
And as for getting out of an abusive relationship, take it SERIOUSLY and do something NOW NOW NOW!!! GET HELP, FIND RESOURCES, MAKE A PLAN, and last but not least FOLLOW THROUGH. I think all a relationship is - is not giving up on trying. Just committing to the other persons bad, no matter how bad. And committing to trying to be as loving and good as you can to them. Cause no one is perfect and no one lives a perfect life. But there can be beauty found in that correlation of days you make with someone and call life… Refusing to give up.
