Han Hyun Min was born in 2001

What I’m here for:

People showing love and supporting Nigerian/Korean mixed model Han Hyun Min because he’s talented and pursuing modeling in a country that is fairly homogeneous when he looks different from the norm. Being proud of him for the news coverage he’s getting internationally for breaking down boundaries when it comes to race, nationality, and preconceived notions of what it means to be Korean and/or Black.

What I’m NOT here for:

Nasty ass creeps viewing him in a sexual way just because he’s tall, well built, and APPEARS to be a “grown man”. People calling out creepy pedophile kpop fans (they should) but being a hypocrite because the minute a boy is half black they don’t see him as a young teen. 

If someone here was writing smut for somi, it’s fair to say we’d all get their blog flagged, we’d condemn them like crazy, and call them a pedophile (rightfully so somi is a literal high school kid). But how come I see people calling han hyun min sexy and sharing shirtless pics of him and viewing him as a grown man when Somi and Han Hyun Min are BOTH BORN IN 2001…. I can’t believe I gotta say this but

 YOU CREEPS NEED TO BACK THE FUCK AWAY FROM THESE ACTUAL HIGH SCHOOL KIDS WTF

“To be honest, I’m still very sad. I had to say goodbye to someone who was very precious to me as an artist, a friend, and a musician. I think I understand to some degree how hard and painful it was for him, and because it’s not a feeling that I am completely unfamiliar with, I still feel very sad and sorry. I think that many people other than just me are also sad.
