Introducing "Tumbling Tots Co.", A Sims 4 Active Daycare Career! I've always wanted my sims to be able to work at a daycare in the Sims 4 because this was an option in the Sims 3. I made a version that was semi-active but decided to just go for it and make a full-blown active career!

Daycare Venue?

Yes, you heard me correctly, a daycare venue! I've created a custom venue type and this venue allows your sim to actively go to work at the daycare. Your sims can also visit the venue with your own toddlers even if they aren't in the daycare career. This is a perfect way for toddlers to socialize and make new friends! You can make any lot a daycare by changing the venue type to 'Daycare". To follow your sim to work, you MUST place down a daycare lot set as the daycare venue type.

At-Home Daycare Career

I've created an Active At-Home Daycare Career that functions like a Get-To-Work Career, but from home. This career is modeled after the Daycare Profession from The Sims 3!

How does it work?

Your workday starts at 9 am when the children are dropped off and ends at 7 pm. The amount of toddlers/children you have depends on your level in the career. You also get paid 120 simoleons per day per child! Each week you also get a stipend depending on your level in the career.

Level 1. Amateur Babysitter: 2 toddlers. Weekly Stipend. $100*

Level 2. Cool Care-Giver: 3 Toddlers. Weekly Stipend = $200*

Level 3. Daycare Dynamo: 3 Toddlers. Weekly Stipend = $300*

Level 4. Good Guardian: 3 Toddlers & 2 School-Aged Children. Weekly Stipend = $400*

Level 5. Daycare Specialist: 3 Toddlers & 3 School-Aged Children. Weekly Stipend = $500*

Psychology Career

"Psychologists probe the complex ways that people think, behave, feel, communicate, and perceive the world around them. Some psychologists focus on clinical work with patients, while others devote themselves to researching the nuances of psychological behavior; in any case, psychology is a vast discipline, with numerous career options to choose from. " Hey y'all! I was requested to make a psychologist career, so here it is! I know there are other psychology/therapist career mods out there, but they don't really go in-depth with the specialties in the career. With this career, you are given the option to jump levels and get a starting bonus if you have a degree in psychology. The only skills you need are logic and charisma. I also figured out how to add daily tasks and this daily task for this career is to have deep conversations with sims. It only takes your doing the interaction about 3 times for the task to be marked as complete. The main track branches off into three fields: Academic & Research Psychology, Behavioral Psychology, and Clinical & Counseling Psychology. Each of those branches into 3 other opens with one level each.  There are a total of 7 levels that your sim can go through.

🍼 Daycare Teacher Career 🍼

Description: "Daycare providers care for children in their own homes or daycare facilities while their parents are at work or otherwise engaged during the day. They take care of the child's every need, including playing games with them, feeding them, and providing basic education as requested by parents. Here at Tumbling Tots Co. we train you on how to run your own at home daycare or work in our learning facility."

How does it work? With the daycare teacher career, you can choose to go to the rabbit-hole job or to work from home. I would recommend to work from home because that is when the fun starts. Once you choose to work from home your assignment is to run your daycare. To do this you need to start the "Run Daycare" social event. This event will automatically spawn 2-5 toddlers from your save (Make sure you save has toddlers if it doesn't please add households with toddlers), and you will have certain goals to complete in 8 hours, for example, taking attendance, eating lunch, having story time, nap time, and playing games. You are able to also invite 5 toddlers from your save yourself but be warned that the mod will still auto-invite 2-5 toddlers, so you can end up having to watch a grand total of 10 toddlers. There's only 1 level in this career, but you are still able to go to the rabbit-hole and earn a raise.

How do I get paid? Your sims pay depends on the medal they earned in the event:
