Well let’s see. Me in 2020 was the worst mental state I’ve ever been in. I was crying daily, using very bad coping skills, but I made my way out. Ash if you’re reading this I’ll never be able to thank you enough for how you helped me through that time. Me now in 2033, there’s still some bad things going on in my mind and I’m still living with my parents but my home life has gotten slightly better. I’m growing my hair out, I have 2 (about to be 3) tattoos, I’m working at a place I dreamed of in high school, I’ve fallen in love with the most amazing man and have been in this relationship for 8 months, I’ve gotten more social since 2020 even though I’m definitely an introvert and started playing dnd so the dice earrings were appreciated. I’m still on the journey to getting better but it’s one step at a time.

Being stuck in a bus during rush hour wasn't uncommon to you and would often upset you, but that day it didn't, since you were leaving work with the promise of a well-rested weekend, everything you wanted at the moment as your week was packed with urgency. Your tiredness paired with the quietness of the people in the bus and the soft music coming out of your earphones made it a lot easier to relax you.

Also, being stuck in a bus during that time wasn't always horrible. You liked to see the streets from above, you liked to be able to look at the other side of walls that looked enormous when you passed by them on foot and it was nicer when you got a chair to sit on.
