For the glow I’ve turned the light switch into a wall lamp but it doesn’t lit up the room. Everything is shiftable and for Mac users or simmers without EP Apartment Life I’ve added the switches/sockets (it’s one item) and 2 power cords above counter height.

Known issues: the bed is only placeable on the first floor and by daylight, on higher floors and night it’s dark and your sim too! This is because this futon is lower than Maxis’s beds. On 1. floor and daylight it looks okay but while sleeping the sim sinks into the bedding. I can’t change this behavior due to the floor placement.
