I really feel as though social media has manipulated these young girls to want to have "sex appeal", and want to be "sexy" to the point of no return. It really is normalising pedo behaviour, and that's what they do not understand. It's very sad that these young girls do not have people their age to look up to that are not trying to fit this sexual narrative. Like without that makeup you look 13! And that's perfectly fine! And by no means is this me victim blaming, but this is the introduction to something way bigger that y'all need to understand, and this is why these predators can say "Oh, I didn't know she was this age". You have girls this age tryna compete with grown ass women, and this is being glamorised to the point you have minors saying that they can't wait to be 18 so they can be SWers, like no. Y'all need to stop.

Self-appreciating humor even when u 100% don’t believe what you’re saying is legitimately such an esteem-booster & i’d recommend everyone to try and replace deprecating jokes with exaggeratedly-positive & validating ones whenever u can

And tbh, it’s funnier/more comfortable for everyone involved anyway. Like, failing spectacularly at something but going “lol y’all WISH you had my talents” instead? Hilarious. Its funny, alleviates the pressure on other ppl to validate your negativity, AND even when what you’re saying “isn’t true” your brain still responds to hearing positive input & your attitude towards yourself & your situation becomes so much healthier after a while.
