The Dressmaker (2015)
Moiraine’s riding scenes are very underrated, so have a few gifs to make up for that.
I just remembered I have a Supercorp Hunger Games AU and now I want to keep writing that instead of editing the actual book I have a deadline for
Interspecies lesbianism
It’s cute guys
nothing but respect for MY lesbian big cat couple
Butch/Butch couple
This is actually hella interesting, bc in simple terms, tigers are extroverts and lions are introverts. There’s more to it, but that’s the gist.
Whenever zoo’s tried to put lions and tigers in the same enclosures, the tiger would eventually try to groom the lioness and play constantly. The lioness would lose patience and snaps at them
So basically what I’m saying is that you have a regal and refined gf who stands at the edge of a balcony during parties, sipping champagne
Then you have the other girl who drank all of the little flutes on the servers platter, and is now drunkenly pointing at her gf and telling everyone that that’s her gf and doesn’t she look beautiful I love her so much
So I had to draw them in human form???
You drew them in the corresponding ethnicities for their Geographic locations!!! Bless you, you have no idea how sick and tired I am of white human lion king characters.
THE TIGER/LION LESBIANS ARE BACK!
CAT LESBIANS!
What are you doing?
Killing Eve was always a perfect and cruel show and the ending was perfectly in line with the last three seasons. It was a little rushed but otherwise perfect and cruel.
Like every element of this episode was telegraphed so it wasn’t shock but almost a relief to see the other shoe drop. These characters careened towards this ending, constructing it themselves, if unknowingly, and ignoring the looming danger that had always been there because it was behind a charming face.
The whole season was such a mess pacing wise, and felt so disjointed from the last--which tbf each season has from the last. Had some great moments though.
I'm not going to lie, I'm disappointed. I didn't need them to skip off into the sunset (though, once again in queer media, the source material does have them together at the end so the idea that they can't be on the show is frustrating). I thought we were going to get some kind of Thelma and Louise style end (driving that camper van into a rush of bullets as both of their crimes catch up to them? Or something ten times better intelligent show writers could come up with) , or that one would literally killthe other and then die, or or or some kind of reflection of the scorpion and the frog fable they brought up. There were so many interesting routes for them to take and that rushed way they chose to end it left a bitter taste in my mouth. It's disappointing from a show that broke expectations again and again to do... That.
Nothing will ever compare to the utter perfection that was Season One of Killing Eve.
