SKYRIM SCENERY [ 5 / ? ] ► R I V E R W O O D

Riverwood is a small village located in the province of Skyrim. The village is built on the eastern bank of the White River, in Whiterun Hold. It is a small Nordic village set in a valley, between the river and the steep mountainside of the Throat of the World. It serves largely as a stopping point and rural community along the road from Helgen to Whiterun. It was founded by the ancestors of Gerdur and Hod, current residents and owners of the village’s lumber mill. The village is small, despite the fact that there is a lumber mill, tavern, blacksmith, general goods store, and three log houses and huts with small vegetable gardens. It is largely self-sufficient, growing its own vegetables as well as hunting and fishing for meat.

it frustrates me to see people saying modern Gale would be an AI bro. Modern Gale would hate AI because there is no soul in it, no creativity; it is attempting to 'solve' art with math and he would find that stifling and depressing.

I think I still hold grief over the loss of Early Access Wyll. Like, you know I do enjoy Full Release Wyll too! But if I had to pick between the two versions of him, I really do believe EA Wyll was going in a fresher direction, and would have personally preferred Larian stuck to that direction rather than bend to racist fans who were always going to hate on him anyway and low and behold, still hate on him anyway.

I also wonder if Larian didn't scrap everything and start over with Wyll, we would've gotten a fuller story arc for him than what we ended up with, too. But that's just speculation of course.

Anyway, this is just vomiting thoughts after seeing some conversation about how Larian removed Lae'zel's teeth / grit, and remembering that she wasn't even the first they did that to.

Urgent Power Bill Assistance Needed!

I am a low-income, disabled Indigenous person seeking assistance.

My family owes nearly $2000 to NS Power and they just threatened to cut us off if we don't pay by April 18, 2024.

We can probably come up with about $500 ourselves, but we will still need about $1500 to cover it all.
