and going from those discussions to here where people think that your vote is some kind of fucking??? enabling maneuver??? as if someone isn’t going to end up in that seat regardless of what you do???

Also sorry what? (In response to the hypothetical person being quoted) I don't own a fridge, I just have access to a fridge because landlords have to provide a fridge, stove, and oven (usually stove aka cooktop and oven are in the same appliance but not always) in my country at least.

And even if I did own it, a lot of good that would do me if I couldn't pay rent and was homeless or couldn't afford the food to put in the fridge.

Being able to pay $50/mth for a phone isn't the same as being able to pay $1000/mth for renting a shitty one bedroom apartment (the mice and bugs don't chip in either. Damn freeloaders)

Most "stuff" people in poverty own was purchased with a one time payment and what we struggle with is meeting recurring monthly expenses. Most of the "stuff" we own was purchased when we had more financial security, or was a gift (and can't sell it for what it's worth even if we didn't need the thing), etc., etc., etc.
