Threads. [ William Lennox x Reader ]

You heard the deep rumble of vehicles, as the Autobots and military pulled back in. The hangar was soon flooded with soldiers and medics. You leaned against the railings, looking down. But, you were only looking for one person. You smiled as the Autobots tried to weave through people, careful not to hurt anyone. You waved, chuckling.

Optimus’s voice rang clear as day, β€œHello, human.”

You nodded, β€œYeah, i’m gonna allow that.”

β€œLooking for me?”

You turned back at the voice. William was leaning against one of the pillars, a small smile on his lips.

You grinned, β€œNope. The base runs fine without you.”

He chuckled, β€œThat’s the goal.”

You smile immediately fell. Assuming the worst, you were about to speak before he did.

Lennox raised his hands in surrender, β€œNo, no. Not like that. It’s good cause i need a break.”

β€œOh, yeah. Tell me bout it. Epps whined all the time that he couldn’t go with you guys.”

β€œHe sprained his ankle, he can’t walk.”

β€œExactly.”

You both laughed, eyes twinkling before you crinkled your nose.

β€œYou smell. Go have a shower.”

β€œOh, you hurt my ego.”

You grinned. He turned to walk away but something caught you eye.

You strode swiftly towards him, β€œWill, wait!”

He stopped in his tracks and whipped towards you.

You were now suddenly aware of how close he was. He held your gaze, and you felt like you were drowning in them.

Will’s fingers were aching from holding back. He just wanted to caress your cheek. He was lost in you. He knew your chests were almost touching, yet, he just wanted to pull you closer.

You whispered, afraid you voice would fail you, β€œThere’s something in your hair…um, do you want me to take it out?”

Will bent his head down, yet his eyes never moved from yours. He was looking at you through his lashes.

You slowly raised your hand, and plucked out the small pink thread from his hair. You groaned internally, wanting to touch more of his beautiful locks. Will though his heart was gonna give out. His gaze dropped to your lips for a moment.

He knew it was a risk yet, he leaned towards you. To his happiness, you leaned towards him too.

You were centimetres away when you suddenly put the thread in the gap and whispered, β€œI like the colour.”

Smirking, you pulled away.

Will rolled his eyes and groaned, β€œYou are such a tease.”

You laughed, β€œYou are sweaty, Will.”

You turned to walk away but stopped. Sighing, you hurried back towards the man, β€œNot to boost your ego-β€œ

The instant you both kissed, you hands snaked into his hair. Will’s going to you waist and tugging you closer. Smiling, you both pulled away for air.

He cocked an eyebrow, chuckling, β€œI don’t have one.”

β€œNo, you’re just a softie.”

And, you kissed again.

β€œBut, seriously, you need to go shower.”

Summary: Flirting with Will only seems to result in annoyance, but when you finally turn your attention elsewhere, he’s not very pleased.Β 

Growing up, your mother had always told you to be the kind of woman that, when your feet hit the floor each morning, the Devil says, β€œoh crap, she’s up”.Β 

You lived by those words every day of your life, not once backing down from a fight, always standing up for what was right, as well as holding your own and never giving up on getting the things you wanted.

To most, you were one of the strongest and most admirable women they’d ever gotten the pleasure of meeting, but to others… well, let’s just say that you might have taken your mother’s words a bit too literally.

You were absolutely relentless when you put your mind to something and one of the many people who had fallen victim to that stubbornness was William Lennox.

So i finally watched the FNAF movie and Mike Schmidt has me in a chokehold. I love Josh Hutcherson, and his look in the FNAF movie had me yelling and gripping my seat. So, maybe I'll write for him after i finish all my resident evil fics and get done preparing for the Richard Armitage Writing Event 2k24 πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€
