Wow, it's been 8 years. Time just whizzed past.
I've been stuck in Skyrim again. It is a very big "comfort" game for me. I have spent over a thousand hours in it and still find stuff. On a side note: was finally able to find one of those darn bonfires that they flier the courier gives you for one of the holidays. Hu-freaking-zah! I had to check the date in game to confirm it was indeed "that date". Found a few things added with the Anniversary Edition, but they are a little higher level than my low level character is ready for (I know this because I tried lol). On reading the interwebs, they are meant for level 45 or higher, I'm at level 22 currently so... yeah. Level a little more before those dungeons. Anywhoo, it's late and I have to get up for work in the morning. Be kind to yourselves, have a good week and take care.
I got a wild hair up my arse and decided to do a make over of the Vatores. I made the faces less " cartoony" because I cannot stand that. and I gave them a new sibling.... Astarion. Except he isn't a vampire but just as insufferable lol. He's self absorbed, snobbish and shallow. I imagine that was what he was like prior to becoming a vampire spawn in BG3. He is quite handsome in CAS. I'll be interested to see where he pops up as a NPC in my other saves since I have MCC set to retrieve townies from my bin. I used many cosmetic mods to make them all beautiful but I enjoy them. If you have a lot of the same mods as me and you want them in your game, I uploaded them to share. Skyrim is where I've been spending my free time. I've got the game running smoothly, even though it keeps telling me I don't have a current version of SKSE... LIES!! I do, it's the most recent version after the latest patch for the game. It was not working right before so I deleted all the SKSE mod and then redownloaded and reinstalled. The game opens now (as long as I have Vortex open at the same time). Not sure why, but it works now even with the "out of date SKSE" warning. Anyway, enjoy the pictures and have a good week.
Opened up my Skyrim game for the first time in a while. Since the update... after the update of the game, some of the important mods don't work right so I'm not using script mods just textures and the game runs fine and is just lovely to look at. I've missed it and didn't realize I did until I opened it up (after spending hours sorting through mods and updates-yay). Hopefully I can get SKSE working so I can get the other mods that are dependent on it to run as well. The game says "it's the wrong version" but it's literally up to date (Anniversary Edition). Honestly, I'm just going to wait. It will sort itself out eventually. I can't be bothered and it's not that serious, just annoying.
Just some random screen shots from game play. Had a family reunion at the Spears Ranch, it was pretty fun to watch. I like that extended family I didn't invite, showed up-bug? Probably. But it did exactly what I wanted regardless so it's a good thing. In the middle are the two in game born townies, I found some nice contacts that were close to the glitching eyes they had- these siblings are good looking. I didn't have to mess with their features at all, just polish them up a bit (and change her hair to dark brown, I like it better for her). Sent my a few members of the family to the magic realm. Clearly, the teachers have switched out: "Ryan Gosling" by Golyhawhaw. I LOVE that I have a few of his celebrity sims in game and they just show up randomly. I think Thaddeus is fitting in the role given to him in game and Maria Stark (from my original save back in the day) is a good fit as well. My only concern about my second copy of my original save is the San Myshuno festival doesn't spawn anymore and stuff is getting glitchy. I've been playing this particular save since 2016, after an update glitched it out but I was able to save it, but not many of the families that I had been playing from the beginning of TS4. It was heartbreaking to lose everyone so I took the only save salvageable and started anew to today. I'm going to have to figure something out and start saving everyone to the gallery and maybe export them with Simstray Exporter to an external hard drive for safety. Nothing important. I've just been feeling like playing TS4 for a change. I do enjoy playing with the horses. They really are well done. On a side note: Everyone is getting freckles! Only partly kidding, just the ones that spend a lot of time outside... I noticed my "heir's" chosen towny girlfriend has glitchy eyes that I can't change, even her brother has glitchy eyes. I know there was an issue after one of the updates and I patched the eyes and even redownloaded "updated" eyes but here we are. Small matter really, they aren't that bad it's just mildly annoying. Happy New Year all. I have been busy at work and hiding from people at home, as someone who is burnt out does. My only solace is my video games ESO, Sims and Baldur's Gate 3. Thank goodness for these things to make me forget about what a crap-tastic year 2023 has been for myself and most other folks. Don't know what this upcoming year will bring but at least I know my pixel peeps will be there to help me forget about if just for a little while.
I hope everyone's year brings all the love, light and happiness-all the good things we all deserve. At least some of it..

Just a couple screen shots from BG3. I love this game. I'm almost done with the second act.. I'm trying to take my time by dawdling so it won't end. I'm already plotting my next playthrough "Dark Urge Redemption"... Yes.
Haven't touched Sims 4 in a while, I think about it but then BG3 gives me the puppy dog eyes and how can I say no to that? Just kidding... Anywhooo, it's early and I have act like an adult and do stuff around the house and be responsible and all that baloney so I'll keep it short.

Been busy at work so I haven't had much "free time" but after work I go straight into Baldur's Gate- Lord, I'm obsessed. This is my second save with my Bard. I'm deep into Act 2 and just sort of wandering around aimlessly lol and trying to not screw up the quest lines... I've had to save scum Isobel and Halsin's quests... Apparently I'm not the only one with these two lol.
This character is romancing Astarion but apparently somewhere a long the way, Gale thought he romance my character. I wish there was an option to let the companions that are for all intent and purposes hitting on you know that you don't like them "that way" before you hurt their feelings. OR better yet, have the game recognize an active "courtship" and it would be up to the player to knowingly activate the multiple courtships if that's what they want.
Other than that, the story of the game and the scenery is fantastic. I finally figured out how to make the UI go away for decent screen shots (F10) so when I think about it, now I can take better pictures. On to other games- haven't really logged in to ESO too much but about every other day to grab the daily award. Haven't opened TS4 recently, I'm too taken by BG3. I haven't even finished this one playthrough and I'm already thinking up what kind of build/character I can do next. I want to try the "Dark Urge" and or the Monk class... so many options and possibilities.
Anywhooo- I think my laundry is done and I don't want to be "that person" who leaves their laundry in the machine when someone else may need it. Everyone take care, be kind to yourselves and be safe.
I'm currently "head over heels" with Baldur's Gate 3. My first save is my Drow Paladin and second save is an Elf Bard. Each save is completely different and it's fantastic. So much to explore and do. It's going to take me a very long time to complete the game and I am perfectly fine with that.
It's been a hot minute since I've posted anything regarding Sims but the Sims 4 horse pack has sparked that fire to want to actually play. I poked around on my cc free tester save and then tested it out on an alternate save-which gave me the glorious grey pony that the family adopted (completely game generated and unaltered). He's perfect and precious. I wish I had him in my main save.... I may have to save a copy of him separate. My main legacy save, I moved my "haunted house" family to one of the new plots and used Peacemaker's build. I edited some of it to suit my likes and needs but as always, his builds are pretty perfect so there wasn't much to do. The main family adopted a lovely black and white painted horse that I planned on mating with Flapjack in town to see if I can get a champion gene and perhaps a pretty pony out of the deal. And did I mention painted ceilings? Painted.... ceilings.... that makes ALL the difference in how your sims' home works. The sheep and goats are precious, btw. They interact with the chickens and the horses and it's just a busy yard. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
Just stopping in to post something... I haven't been playing a lot of the Sims lately but I have been following the news about the upcoming expansion... Yeah. Little excited for it. I'm liking what I see so far and I went ahead and preordered because I'm impulsive lol.
I have been playing the new chapter in ESO Necrom. Freaking fantastic. The zone, gorgeous. The new class, amazing. I have been sucked into the Telvanni Peninsula and I'm not mad about it. So I'll share some of the screen shots I took over a period of time including my baby arcanist Dunmer (dark elf) Vannea Ulven.
It's the long weekend for the 4th of July and I haven't even opened ESO but I have downloaded a butt-ton of cc for Sims 4 and I'm inclined to maybe jump in game and check it out... as long as the EA app will let me. Anyhooo, take care, be safe and be kind to yourselves. Cheers.
It's been a little while but I'm still here lurking... just not posting. Haven't played the sims in several weeks but I've been playing the heck out of ESO. Here's some screen shots from the new zones Necrom/Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha. It is fan-freaking-tastic. The new class is fun to play and the zone is gorgeous. So yeah, that's about it. Other than that, it's the same old thing rinse and repeat.

Played some TS4 and ESO this weekend. Modders save the TS4 and are what keep it from imploding. With that said, my game played beautifully and I enjoyed myself. The infants are precious. I played with an alternate save (The Zepeda's-townies I took a shine to). Their toddler pre-infant had aged up to a boy, he's quite cute.
All the family's chickens were elders and were dying. It was kind of sad. Of course the Grim decided to go inside and play the violin with the infants... okay? An old girlfriend came by and I had him introduce his son. Her face told a story. She's still holding that grudge that he broke it off with her sim years ago.
And last but not least: It was the Jubilee event in ESO. Golden coffers filled with wonderful crafting items every time you completed something. I was pretty busy on all my characters but today is the last day of the event so I don't have to grind to get all the coffers for my crafter. For you viewing pleasure, my Khajiit named Tobias after my beloved boy that passed. I got his markings and coloring to match pretty close but I got his nose to match spot on. I still get to see my boy but just in the game now (Still miss that little turd).

Random pictures from the last week of gameplay. It was the Jester's Festival in ESO and there were several days of boosted experience and random "loot" as much of the festivals contain. The costume is the coveted reward. I managed to get it on both NA and EU servers. I'm not sorry for the time it took to get it but I'm glad I have it because it's stinking cute! On to other news: Playing TS4. Games still in a buggy state after the last expansion. I'm sure this comes as a shock...... I'm being sarcastic.
Lot's of spontaneous "Best Friend" requests or requests to move in. I've only used that bug twice. But it will eventually get patched out... I hope.
