There’s loud, pleased chirping from the smaller bug as she squirms in his hug. Sure, she thought herself getting too big for these sorts of things but any praise from her old man was enough to get her to act like the damn child she technically was.

There’s a high pitched chirping noise from the chimera, practically hovering in the air a her wings flap in excitement. She missed being home!
“I went out for awhile and I might’ve gotten a little bit lost..”
The man chuckled probably louder than necessary, “I Guess that’s okay long as you had fun being lost out there! Like a big adventure. Hopefully better than when I was lost in the desert years back.
I’m confident you’re able to handle yourself well, though. You’re a real tough kid! It’s just really good to see you again!
“Do me a big favor, though? If you get a chance, stop by to see Cell, okay? I’m sure it would make his day.”
Hands on hips, Hercule had another thought. “Hey, how about instead of those fast food chicken nuggets you like so much, I fry some actually good chicken tenders.” He smirked. “Now are you more of a BBQ sauce fan or a honey mustard kind?”
“Oh, I went to see papa already!” Of course she did, he was really the only one of the two she could go to to actually discuss things that would probably give Hercule a damn heart attack. That didn’t mean June didn’t appreciate him though, it just took some time for her to grow more comfortable with the idea of him seeing her own papa.
“Hm,” Well, the brat had been gone for awhile so it wasn’t like she had regular human food to eat in the meanwhile or anything. The girl gives a shrug of her shoulders before shaking her head. “Both.”
“AGH- That wasn’t supposed to do that!!”

“Of course I did papa,” There’s a very prideful smile on her face as she straightens her posture out. Honestly, she’d been gone so long she almost forgot what it was like to be back ‘home’. “I left none standing!”
