They’d never needed to protect Gilgamesh, and they’d had a whole forest helping them protect their Master back home. “You may need to keep the bat ready.”
The makeshift weapon rested in her grip, steadied again with a nod. She hoped that it wouldn’t be necessary with a servant nearby.

To be determined later, their simple chat was coming to an end with the discordant screams of citizens appearing at the end of the tunnel where the servant came from.
