Li'l Sweetcakes Pony Blog

@lilsweetcakes

My Little Pony blog of all generations. Pictures from my own personal collection, purchases and restoration efforts. Plus reblogs of pony pictures I've taken a fancy to. My username is after my favorite childhood pony. If anything is reblogged from jer-tan, that's just a repost from my main blog.

I'll be posting these as downloadable soon, I think the first 2 will be completely free and the second 2 just $5 for the model download. Each one has 4 different versions: Blank body, "Charm" version with hook, and 2 with round bases. One of the round bases has sculpted tails and the other has a bow with a hole in it where hair is meant to go.

The first pony is a pegasus pose Petite Pony and is closely copying the original. The second is the Mimic unicorn pose but on a Petite Pony base (because there are no unicorn Petite Ponies); The last two are the My Little Pony friends Creamsicle the Giraffe and Cutesaurus the dinosaur.

I probabbly won't be abble to get these printed because I'm totally broke. Speaking of which, if anyone is interested in a 3D commission of their pony OC, hit me up. I now have all these assets, a default pony armature I can edit, and I can make both sculpted-style and nylon-style hair in blender.

They are already selling data to midjourney, and it's very likely your work is already being used to train their models because you have to OPT OUT of this, not opt in. Very scummy of them to roll this out unannounced.

here's some instructions for anyone who doesn't know how to opt out:

  1. login in on desktop, it's not available on mobile yet
  2. click "Account"
  3. click on your blog
  4. go to "Blog Settings"
  5. go to "Visibility"
  6. Scroll down to the bottom option
  7. turn the toggle ON, not off

you will have to do this individually for each sideblog you have too, no way to do it for each account in one go

The 1986 So-Soft ponies are a huge set (compared to most ponies that had sets of 6 around this time), but it was split into two waves.

My guess is the left-hand ponies were sold in Quarter 1 and 2 (January to June) and the right-hand set were Quarters 3 and 4. The MLP movie came out on June 6, 1986, and after that was over they wouldn't need the movie advertisement that is covering Heart Throb.

Interesting that all the rereleased ponies like Gusty and Posey are in the first set. Also, none of the "add-on" ponies appeared in the MLP 'n Friends cartoon. (But some of their babies did: Baby Fifi and Baby Bouncy.)
