I feel a combination of a lot of things right now. A sense of relief yet a sense of pain and sadness inside. I’m in a reflective mood cause i think about all the Black lives taken and this feels like a moment of change in a new direction yet it also feels like this shouldn’t have never happened to begin with... any of them. However, this a stepping stone in accountability being taken and some sense of restored faith in the justice system. There’s still so much work to be done.
