also, just so we're clear: there's no objective physical advantage trans people have in ANY sport. not one single sport where banning trans people from partecipating in competitions would be the right thing to do. we have no physical advantage. if in light of the jamie chadwick news you wanna point out how there's no differences between men and women when driving a car, that's okay, but please be careful not to imply she'd be right if this was another sport. again: there's no physical advantage. we, trans people, all have different bodies, different transition journeys etc. and for every trans person who wins a competition that you hear about in media, there's 200 who don't even make top 3, you just won't hear about it cause it doesn't benefit transphobes' narrative of trans people, especially trans women, having a huge advantage, being infinitely stronger than their cis peers and being The Death Of Fairness In Sports. so yes, there's no advantage in driving a racing car that comes from being trans, but there's no advantage in gymnastics, athletics, swimming etc. either

Don’t put a guy up in glaring lights for doing the bare minimum, and we certainly don’t Stan real people cause that never works out, but I’m at least glad George has supported Lewis at a lot of occasions thus year. Far too used to people use shutting up and taking the easy way out.
The fact he won’t ever let others call him better than Lewis has been refreshing considering how some f1 teammate pairings work out…
Oh also fuck Redbull and fuck Max Verstappen. Their ability to look at the bar that’s practically on the floor and tunnel under it is astounding.

a few things to keep in mind as you talk about the current situation with roe v wade:
- women are not the only people who can get pregnant, and therefore are not the only people who get abortions or the only people affected by restrictions to abortion access — sincerely, a man with a uterus
- the recent legislation against trans people transitioning, particularly as it relates to trans men and transmasc people, has been justified by the politicians supporting it using the argument that transitioning jeopardizes our reproductive potential, which they see as more important than our actual lives. if you support the legislation against us or have been silent about it, you cannot claim to be fighting for reproductive rights. you don’t get to only care about it when it affects you — if you let them get away with that rhetoric against trans people, you give them the power to use it against you. if you can’t stand in solidarity with us, you will end up standing against yourself
please don’t forget us in these conversations, and don’t be silent about the attacks on our bodily autonomy
all of this is connected — criminalizing transition, overturning roe v wade, it’s all working toward the same goal. if you care about one part of it, you have to care about all of it, or any efforts against it will fail
if you don’t care enough about us to fight our oppression for our sake, do it because you cannot fight against your own oppression without fighting ours too
