Hiiii! I’ve missed you all so much!!!!
First of all, I want to thank you for all the times Nightingale had your support. It all started as a joke; I never believed this could turn into something serious and give me the power to achieve so much. My heart will forever be grateful!
With that said, I believe it might be time to change a few things. As you know, I’m a mom now, and my priority will always be him. Since he was born, I’ve been fully dedicated to being a mom for him, and I don’t regret anything. But I do miss the things I could do and the person I was before him.
Considering all these changes that have happened while I’ve been away, everything seems to revolve around Blender now. That was never my intention—leaving behind the creation of in-game content. So much has changed that I can’t keep up with all the updates. The time I would need to catch up could be spent creating something that makes me happy. So, I’ve decided to make an official announcement that, while not definitive, reflects how I want to work here for now:
Nightingale Sims, as you know it, has always focused on creating ALPHA content, especially for women’s clothing. I’ve ventured into making objects and other things, but I never went far with it, although I enjoy that type of creation.
For those who have followed me from the start, you know Nightingale began with creations for toddlers. My Sims have always had a maternal vibe. I had about 743,847 different kids (😂), and I only played The Sims 2. Many things from The Sims 2 became unavailable after the release of The Sims 3 and 4, and I really wanted items from the older games that were no longer being made. That’s when I decided I would learn to create and convert things for personal use. With a lot of stubbornness, I managed it. Some followers on Tumblr asked for my creations, and after getting permission from other creators, I shared them. That’s how I officially became a content creator, even though I started by converting and recoloring existing content.
Later on, I learned to create my own meshes thanks to Strawberrikhunnie, an old creator for The Sims 2, who taught us how to make meshes in Marvelous Designer and make them functional in the game (Sims 2). From then on, I started creating my own meshes, and that’s where my journey truly began.
Now that I’m a mom, my attention is always drawn to kid-related things. There are many things I wish I could give my son but can’t, and my first thought is always: “OMG, I want to make this in The Sims 4!” I spent months planning various comebacks here, but it never worked out.
Then I thought, why not? If it works, great; if not, maybe it will another time.
I can’t promise to create content that caters to everyone, but for now, this is my focus. The beauty of being here is the freedom to do what I want without too many expectations. That said, I often feel obligated to explain my absence because so many of you still support me on Patreon, even though there’s no obligation to do so since I’ve been gone for months.
This isn’t set in stone, as I mentioned, but for now, it’s what I want to do.
I might create some decorations and objects as well. If I do, I’ll likely use a different account, which I’ll decide on later and let you all know about here!
I think that’s all I wanted to say for now. Any updates, I’ll share them here!
I miss you all every single day! I’m writing this from the bottom of my heart because creating content brought me closer to people who admired my work and gave me so much love over the years. I made friendships, connected with incredible people, and gained tools that allowed me to grow. I got to visit places I couldn’t have before, eat what I wanted, when I wanted. I grew here; after all, it’s been over 10 years as a content creator. It’s impossible to step away from this without feeling an enormous love for it all!
I hope you can support me in this new phase and that I can make all these plans a reality! See you soon!!!!!!!
I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
