Don't worry though, because I don't think 10 of Swords is negative here. To me, it says that your friend trusts you; that when he's really down or afraid, you'll be there to comfort him. He might feel like you protect him in some way, and/or looks up to you because he views you as strong. When he's with you, he feels safe--and when he's really hurting, he knows he can count on you.
It could be read as well that he might view himself as broken, while he views you as strong/complete. The admiration is a little wistful--he wishes he could be like you. Whether one or both is true, it's clear that there is a strong bond with a lot of trust here!

While I'm not sure if this pinpoints a specific career, I am getting a strong vibe of care here. 10 of Pentacles is a soothing card; feeling at peace, safe, comfortable. Temperance in this deck looks like some kind of angel. The combination makes me think of something in the medical field, or some position where you're taking care of others and making sure they're safe, which could be so many things (social work, some form of therapy, law, etc.) It could even point to something environmental with the 10 of Pentacles.

In this reading, The Magician seems to symbolize curiosity and excitement, but also an otherworldly connection. For some reason, it feels like this might symbolize a relationship in a past life. Especially with the other card, where all of the chakras are in balance and you are in tune with the universe and/or each other; this connection doesn't feel new. It feels very rich and deep. Have you known Achilles a while, or felt like you've known him a while?
The Magician also reads to me as the excitement of meeting someone you really like and feel connected to. To be honest, I haven’t been focused on astrology for a long time; a relationship pulled me away from the rest of the world, and I’m still trying to figure out my place in it, in the aftermath. Most of the time, I feel half here, half in purgatory. I came back to this blog because it made me remember what it felt like to feel connected to others; to be sixteen and full of belief in the world and in myself. This blog used to be a kind of home. I missed that.
Coming back made me want to explore pieces of astrology I’d never looked at before. First and foremost; Chiron. The deepest wound of the soul. Mine is, like my sun sign, Scorpio—and my deepest wound is loss. Not so much death, but loss of innocence, loss of youth, loss of self. The worst losses I’ve suffered are friendship, time, and familiarity.
I have to figure out, somehow, how to accept my losses. Acceptance is difficult for me; I go back and think of what I can’t change and what I’ve lost and how much I want to go back in time, to my past self, and live in her skin. With every change, I feel further and further away from safety; or maybe the last time I felt safe.
Every aspect of life is unfamiliar to me; I am unfamiliar to myself.
I hope by reconnecting to my past self, I can find her within me again, and with her, safety. If I had that, I think I could start to accept the loss.
